Super daypack/slender backpack or travel pack
The pack itself is what you would expect from Osprey. Quality build that I expect to last for years. The size and design are what sets this apart. It is the physical size and capacity of a daypack, but structurally built like a framed backpack. I use it for 4-8 mile hikes to carry a water reservoir or bottle (or both), all the layers I need in cold weather, some snacks and the usual phone, keys, camera, etc. It's not large enough to carry sleep kit or much in terms of cooking kit so you aren't going to use this for a 3 day through hike. But if you are heading out for a day long out and back or loop it will carry all you could want and do it very comfortably. Lots of capacity in a small footprint would make for a very good overnight bag or carry on as well. For all the tech features watch the Osprey videos - they are very good.

Amazing!!
Brought this pack for a very long hard hike!! And boy am I glad I did!! I was noticing that when I hiked my arms would go numb and my shoulders and back would ache. This hike required me to not only bring a water bladder which fit perfectly in the bladder section of the bag, but I also needed extra clothes, a rain and down jacket, plus snacks and first aid kit plus my poles. Everything fit perfectly and with the bag itself being so light even with all this gear hiking to 6000ft I was perfectly comfortable no back or shoulder aches. Straps were very comfortable and the detachable waste strap was definitely needed for this hike, so was very happy to have it and the built in rain cover was a wonderful added bonus!! If you love day hikes and are looking for something light, stylish and big enough to carry all your gear this is the bag for you!!!

Perfect for Panama
I purchased this backpack to use on a five month family adventure through Panama. Loved having this pack. Could expand it and carry a huge load or tighten it down and just use as a light daypack. Used the built-in water cover when it rained. As a taller man, it does fit a little small… but I still really enjoyed it. It’s an Osprey, so I’ll hold onto it for life. Great backpack.

What a grat pack
Well after a trip to Hawaii I couldn't be happier. I am not a small frame person by any means and this pack was extremely comfortable and super sturdy. My wife is not broad shouldered like me and she was impressed with the comfort of this pack also. This is not my first Osprey pack and this very affordable pack impressed me. I would highly suggest this pack for day use or as a carry on for plane fights.

Great bag except for the side pouches
I bought this bag for a hiking trip to Patagonia. It served well when I hiked and the front pouch was useful to put my jacket in when it got too hot. The main bag space is not bad either, Its a good bag for a day hike. Perfect size for a day hike. I also loved the provision for a camelbak water pack. It came in super handy. The reason I gave it a 4 star rating is because of the side pouches. There are 2 side pouches on either side and they are both large and loose. Anything you put in that tend to fall off easily. I had a water bottle in there and everything I will pick up the bag or lay the bag sideways and pick it up, the bottle will fall off. This gets annoying pretty quickly. I am not sure why such a design flaw was made. Why cant it be made tighter? or have a provision to secure a bottle. They do have a strap to make it secure but it is too low to provide any good protection. Other than this one major design flaw, the bag works fairly well.

Just what we needed!
I got this backpack for my husband because he was using a regular old backpack on hikes, and because he hates the feeling of sweat on his back. This bag completely solved the sweat problem for him and he loves it. It keeps the bag from resting on his back where it gets the sweatiest and gives him plenty of airflow to stay as dry as possible. It’s also a nice looking bag and Osprey products are always pretty good quality, especially for the price.

Geez! Less than 2 pounds and has a frame!
This is replacing my old backpack with a zillion pockets and bulky footprint. Well this one does not have all the pockets, I don't pack that way anymore anyways. It also has a raincoat stored in another big pocket. If you aren’t going to use the raincoat, that’s one more pocket. Yes I am keeping this one.

Comfortable and great for a day back pack
This back pack is amazing, great fit, feel, and finish, and amazing customer service at osprey. I use it as a day back pack and find it very comfortable. Only thing that doesn’t work for me is the hip belt which I removed because I’m to tall for it.
