I have used many different car care products over the years. I like to do my own cleaning and detailing, so when I saw this product, I wanted to give it a try. I bought a new car for my wife last year and they did a complete detail job including ceramic coating. Now when I go to clean her car it is as easy as just a quick power wash with the hose. The dirt just comes right off. I have had this product for a while now and was hesitant to use it on my cars before trying it out. So I cleaned my mountain bike and used this stuff on the bike. My hope is that it will repel dirt and mud and make it much easier to clean my bike after a ride. Although I have not used this on my cars yet, this is what I found from using it on my bike. 1st of all application is easy. Spray it on a microfiber cloth or pad and apply it onto the surface. Circular motions worked for me due to using a pad applicator. Use a clean microfiber towel to wipe off and buff dry. It will leave the surface shiny and almost wet looking. Last step is the fun part. Go get your bike dirty and come home and spray it down. Just like my wife's car the dirt just washes away quickly. This does not last as long as the more expensive ceramic coatings, but it is a 1/4th the price. I am happy with this product and can recommend it. It is easy to apply and is currently at a great price. This bottle will last me a long time since I will use it on my mountain bikes only. I figure once every four months this should keep my bike looking brand new. I see no reason why it would not have the same great results for your car....

It took time for me to write this review because I wanted to really give this ceramic coating a test. I wash/wax my Mercedes on a regular basis, but I have been looking to do an actual ceramic coating. I picked this up and decided to give it a test. I started by thoroughly hand washing the car to take off old wax and then spot cleaned some places that had bug or tar residue that was very stubborn. I clay treated the trunk and hood to get rid of the really dug in impurities and felt like it was a good time for the coating. Following the directions, I worked in approximately 3 foot by 3 foot sections applying the ceramic coating. The spray is easy to apply and I used a microfiber towel the rub the spray uniformly in the areas. I followed up with the fluffy towel to buff the areas afterwards. I highly recommend doing it in good lighting since I did have good light and still missed a could areas when I overlapped. The resultant shine was excellent. I didn't have any whitish buildup on any trim like I usually have with wax and the surface was flawless. The very next day, I took it out for a trip and ran into a rain storm. Usually you would cringe at the thought, but I was hoping to see rain so I could see how this product would react. Between a short, pouring rain and a drizzle afterwards, combined with the spray from other cars, it was certainly tested. The result was exemplary. The water beaded and ran to the back of the car. The only remaining film of dirt was on the back of the car where it ran to and the front/hood was as clean as when I applied the wax. As far as longevity goes, I can't really address that yet, but since it is pretty simple to apply, if it lasts quarterly I wouldn't complain at all. Really seems worth the price.

I really like how easy the DOKIKO Technical Intense Gloss SiO2 Ceramic Coating was applied. The key is a very clean vehicle before you apply this ceramic coating. The best part is the intense shine that appears as you wipe off this product. Basically, you need two micro cloths with one that applies this liquid that was sprayed on each quarter panel at a time. Use about 5 to 7 squirts per panel on a midsize SUV. The other micro cloth wipes clean. Both applying and polishing use first a vertical motion then a horizontal but avoid doing a swirl action. What’s an eye opener to me is when the second micro cloth is polishing the car’s surface. I can feel the friction coefficient drop with each stroke. Step back and you can see the metal flakes baked into the paint gleaming back at you. I used about 2 ounces for a complete single coating so I can expect about 5 washes/ bottle. One application should last about 4 months, it’s extremely hydrophobic and dirt resistance. This product is safe on most surfaces including paint, headlights, chrome, wheels and glass. Update - I drove in a rain storm with DoKiko Ceramic wax on my car and indeed this product is hydrophobic. The beads of water covered my car were just blown away at about 35 mph. When I drove into my garage my hood was completely free of any water beads and it looked very clean. Best ceramic wax I have ever used.

This was super easy to use and exceeded my expectations. My 8 year old Audi looks brand new again.
