Excellent product
Excellent product. Good value for money and easy to install. Perfect temporary window coverings whilst permanent covering takes longer or arrange. Durable and so I do not anticipate having to replace. I also managed to fit one to my dorma window with a bit of creativity to secure at the bottom.

Easy to cut to size and put up
Does exactly as stated. Easy to cut to size and put up, strong sticky strip adequate for the job and it blocks out the light really well.I've removed a star for the cost. You receive what is essentially 6 large pieces of folded paper with a strip of double sided tape on one end. I had the impression (or made the assumption) that this could be raised when needed, but that's not the case.

Better products are available
We bought both Temposhades and Redishades when we moved in to our new build, whilst we waited for our made to measure shutters, blinds and curtains to be fitted, and I have to say Redishade was both the more expensive and inferior of the two. The weight of the paper used is of lower quality, which means they "bounce" up because of the pleats. When sleeping with the window open on warm nights, they rustled a lot (again, related to the quality of the material). This is a completely honest and unbiased review to help fellow Amazon shoppers as I am in no way affiliated with either of these companies.

Not as long as advertised
Unfortunately they were not as long as advertised. My Windows are 1.8m tall and these fell very much shorter than desired. Black out quality was better than expected.

Cheap and effective
Easy to cut to size and install, clips work well, screens block out light very effectively.

Great purchase
Really useful purchase to black out the bedroom in the height of summer.Easy to put in place but the adesive does not always adhere for a long time but if you clean and prepare the surface properly you should not need to kep putting them back up every couple of cays.

Great temporary solution for baby’s room
So glad someone recommended these to me as a temporary solution to darken our littlest’s room. They’re easy to use, stay up, and do the job. I just wish they’d come on longer options, too.We kept the blinds that came with our new apartment as a temporary measure until we were ready to install something more permanent. The day before our move-in, I pulled on the cord of the blinds in our baby’s room and the whole thing came crashing down; blind slats were everywhere. Thank goodness my kids weren’t there. I panicked because the window is east-facing and the little room gets baked in the morning sun. I was relieved to find these shades. They arrived on our move day to our new place. In the midst of the chaos, we were able to cut and install one easily. We were hoping to have the a/c installed that day, but it didn’t work out. That meant the paper shades were too short to cover the window. My only wish is that the 48” width shades would come in longer options. I would have definitely purchased a longer set. For the first night we covered the bottom with a cardboard box. By the next day’s nap we had the a/c in and then the shade length was sufficient. It really blocks the light and lets our toddler nap comfortably during the brightest hours. This is only the third day with the shade up. We will see how long it stays up. Luckily, we have extras if it falls. It also remains to be seen how easily it can be removed and whether it will strip the paint. We just don’t know. These would also be great when traveling in case the windows aren’t sufficiently shaded for babies and kids who nap. The friend who recommended them said her mother used them while visiting Norway in the summer, during the long days of the midnight sun. Where she was staying there wasn’t good window cover, so she used these.I don’t understand the reviewers who complain that this is a temporary solution that’s difficult to open and close. It takes a bit of folding to clip them back up, but it’s all straight forward and easy to do. It’s also not intended to be a permanent replacement for proper window treatments. At $5/shade, these are great..

They are truly blackout curtains
Liked how easy it was to cut to size, easy to instal, perfect blackout - i works shift work so these cut the sunlight by about 98 percent. With my regular curtains, i could not see without turning on the light. Not only did they block the light they helped keep rooms cooler. You cannot beat the price. Would buy again.

Buenas por su precio
No están mal, cumplieron su función y cubren muy bien del sol. El pegamento despues de 1 mes comienza a despegarse pero se puede vovler a pegar facilmente. Nos sacaron de un apuro en lo que compramos cortinas de verdad.

Disappointed
Clips / pegs not strong enough to hold blind. Adhesive not strong enough either to stick.

These are great value and look fantastic
These shades block out sunlight extremely well, go up in seconds and look fantastic.Others mentioned that the adhesive didn't keep up for extended periods so I decided to put tacks in the top corners to prevent them falling. If you're just going to use the adhesive, I suggest washing the surface first to improve the contact. (I put one up without tacks, so I'll update this review if/when it falls down.. but if you're reading this, it means it hasn't fallen yet.)Since they're made of paper and can't be washed (only dusted), I'd consider these to be single-use and wouldn't recommend using them in bathrooms or in situations where you'll need to raise & lower them often (they'll likely tear easily if you're not careful) but they're perfect for covering windows (or the tops of them) permanently. You can shorten both the length and width easily with a utility knife as needed. As they're very lightweight, a slight breeze can make them move away from the window, so you may wish to tack down the bottom corners if this is a problem. Alternatively, you could use magnets to weigh it down (or use velcro.)If you plan on using these on shorter windows (3' tall or less), you could cut them in half along the seams and put them up with tacks (or double-sided tape or velcro) to get 12 shades out of it instead of 6. Just keep in mind you won't have enough clips to raise them all at once. One reviewer mentioned that it didn't come with the clips/clamps, but mine did and they look to be good quality and will probably outlast the shades (I attached a picture since one wasn't provided.) While I probably won't be using the clamps to raise the shades, I'll be keeping them to find another use for.If used for the right purpose, these are an amazing value and look great. Exactly what I needed.Hope this helps, sorry for the long-winded review.
