You get what you pay for.
I could not get this thing to work. I used to have the Garmin mechanic, and it worked great for years. I could never get this adapter to connect to either my phone, tablet or my android stereo. Absolute garbage.

Works, just restart your phone
Works well. Restart your phone after app install then pair if not everything is working. Spent too much time before I figured that out. Can be used with other apps as well.
