Castleberry's, Hot Dog Chili Sauce, Classic, 10oz Can (Pack of 6)

I love the Castleberry's Chili Dog Sauce! It's my family's favorite, and I can no longer buy it at the grocery store. I now order on Amazon, and am so happy I found it here. I order some food items from Amazon, and always check the dates. So far, the Castleberry's expiration dates are years into the future. I will be buying it here from now on!

Pretty good hot dog chili sauce. Definitely perks up a plain dog.

Great price for amount of product and this is the only chili I use for my chili dogs. Also arrived really quickly!

I grew up with this hotdog sauce so of course I'm attached to it. I'm sure it wouldn't please everyone. I order this 6-pack every spring so I enjoy my version of a traditional chili dog over the summer. They don't sell it around here so I have to pay a premium but it's a small price to pay for the enjoyment I get out of it.

i used to get this a couple of years ago as it was great chili, then my store stopped selling it. Went a couple of years and saw it on here, thought "great, now I can enjoy chili dogs". But nope. Ordered six cans for the outrageous price, opened the can and it smelled like dog food. Very little hamburger, IF that's what's in it as the meat was kind of a whiteish color so not sure what that's about. The sauce itself is greasy, smelled awful, and like what Hormel's chili taste like...which is NOT a compliment. Different color then I remember, and certainly not the same taste. Just thick, nasty tomato sauce with little meat (?), and absolutely ZERO spicey flavor like it once had. Find a good recipe and make your own, at least you'll know what's in it.
