Perfect Compact Transmitter for On-the-Go Flying
The RadioMaster Pocket ELRS (Transparent) has become my go-to controller for quick flying sessions and travel. The transparent case with built-in LEDs isn't just eye-catching - it's actually useful for visualizing switch positions in low light conditions. What impresses me most is how RadioMaster packed full EdgeTX functionality into such a compact form factor. The hall effect gimbals provide smooth, precise control despite their smaller size. As a thumb flyer, I find the ergonomics comfortable for extended sessions, though pinchers may need a short adjustment period. The 250mW ELRS internal module delivers reliable connectivity with excellent link quality throughout my flights. Battery life is good with dual 18650 batteries (not included), easily handling 4-5 hours of active flying before needing a recharge. The foldable antenna and removable stick ends make this truly pocket-sized for transport. I appreciate the thoughtful design touches like the perfectly balanced neck strap hook position and the backlit LCD screen that's readable even in bright sunlight. For beginners, this offers tremendous value with full EdgeTX capabilities at an entry-level price. For experienced pilots, it makes an excellent secondary radio for travel or flying tiny whoops. The external module bay also accepts nano-sized modules for future expansion. The only minor drawbacks: the USB charging and connection ports are separate, and the gimbal tension adjustment screws are a bit difficult to access. But these are minor quibbles for what has become my favorite portable transmitter. Whether you're just starting out or looking for a capable travel companion to your main radio, the RadioMaster Pocket delivers excellent performance in a truly portable package.

Great everyday controller
Very easy to use and great size! Keep in mind if this is your first controller it does not come with batteries and will not connect to the sim without them at least the one I used. Overall great beginner or everyday controller! Also the start up sound is custom not stock there’s a bunch of videos on YouTube on how to do it, enjoy!

Perfectly named and very capable radio that is easy to slip in your pack or even a pocket
I really like that it ships with a current build of EdgeTX and with latest (as of this writing) 3.3 version of ELRS on the version I selected. If you plan on using this radio with some of the pre-built quads with built-in ELRS, you may need to update your receivers if they don't bind. I like that for $65 I got a full-featured 16 channel transmitter with hall effect sticks. I like how the A and D switches light up when active. I purchased this radio to be a companion to a Pavo Pico cinewhoop. Altogether the quad, batteries and this TX fit easily in my daypack with plenty of room to spare. The stick tension is, thankfully, adjustable. It arrived with the sticks so stiff it felt like a toy, but a few moments with an allen wrench and it is smooth and responsive. One other thing I like is the momentary switch is a large pushbutton on the left side making this radio a suitable choice for controlling Discus Launch Gliders. Receivers are cheap and the signal robust with easy wifi setup. Very Pleased with this radio!

No brainer for first radio
Been flying this for a free months now and it’s great, plenty of tutorials on YouTube on how to set things up. The only issue I’ve had is trying to get the momentary contact switch and scroll wheel to get recognized in betaflight but I got some help from Internet forums and got it working. More customizable than you could ever want and works fine for sims My only complaint it the battery life, I’m not sure if I have something set wrong but it seems to drain batteries like crazy sometimes, and sometimes it seems ok. The charging LEDs are confusing, they use RED and not green, I’m still not sure what light pattern is supposed to indicate fully charged.

Unsafe, mine was defective
Mine was defective, it worked fin unless you were out in the hot sun all day then the left gim al would start dragging and lock up, you can see in picture, it could probably be fixed, but the radio is unsafe so i returned it, the arm button is way to sensitive and has no tactile response, if you just put your finger on the button it may disarm while flying, and sometimes when you want to disarm I had it not disarmed several times, it's just unsafe and should have toggle switches like the Zorro, it would be a great radio if it had toggle switches but the current momentary button is just dumb! Now other than that as for holding in my hands it felt great and the gimbals were great until the one started locking up, but again that's just like a clearance issue, honestly should have redesigned the Zorro with the batteries and screen that this one has. And it would be a perfect radio, the batteries in the Zorro suck, but the Zorro is a far better and safer radio than this!

Fantastic beginner controller
Why did you pick this product vs others?: I liked the price tag and the versatility. This controller has helped a lot by being able to connect to my computer for Sim time
