Thanks for the kit! These make beautiful candles. They're easy to wick and easy to un-mold. I love how the bottom comes off for even easier wicking. Great idea!

Pros:It was easy to get the candle out of the mold. (I used soy wax).Cons:They are small. The diameter is exactly the same on both candles, if you were wondering.They leak! And when I say leak, I mean I refilled the tall mold (drained to half full) three times before giving up, and emptied the pictured dish four times for a final candle of less than half of the mold’s heighth.The seeping made the tops of my candles hideous.Not worth even a fraction of the price.

Easy to remold I’ve seen other plastic mold reviews saying it was hard to get the candle out I didn’t have to oil this one.

The media could not be loaded. These are very good moulds.Some reviews say that the wax leaked from the bottom.This is because they didn’t put a bit off Blue Tac or similar to seal the hole after you put the wick in. You have to do this with all these type of hard plastic moulds as all candle makers know.I find if I use a silicone mould and the hole I make is slightly smaller than the wick I push in it will self seal.Other reviews say that they can’t demould the candle after it has set.The mould has a very small taper so it will only come out from the bottom to the top. It won’t come out if you try to push it out from the top to the bottom. And make sure you are using the correct type of wax. Pillar wax for moulds and melts and Container wax for candles that are in glasses, tins, or any vessel.Hope this helps.

Ich bin absolut enttäuscht, die größere Form ist beim Befüllen sofort ausgelaufen und auch schief. Der Boden hat 3 Risse bekommen, die Temperatur vom Wachs war unter 90°. Nun kann man die Kerzen leider nicht sus der Form bekommen, auch der Kühlschranktipp hilft hier nicht.Es ist minderwertiger Plunder, nicht zu gebrauchen und ich rate daher vom Kauf ab!

Mal schnell dekorative Kerzen selbst hergestellt. Ein Tipp für diejenigen, die nicht wissen, ob sie aufgrund der etwas schlechteren Kritiken die Formen bestellen wollen - wenn man die Formen vor dem Befüllen mit Wachs, mit Öl einfettet, mit einem Pinsel etc.. dann lassen sich die Kerzen ganz einfach wieder raus drehen, wenn sie vollständig fest sind.
