Vocabulary from Latin and Greek Roots: Level XII

It's not the "smartest" book out there, meaning if you have a vocabulary that largely consists of multi-syllabic words, you might see a lot of words and roots that you've already committed to memory, but it's still a very helpful refresher tool and everyone always has room for improvement.I also used it to help a classmate who was struggling in our law classes; she was having the most difficult time with the legalese and this, in addition to other books in the series, were very helpful to her!Highly recommend this as a study tool for SATs or any standardized testing with a vocabulary component.

Great study tool. Teaches kids the foundations of language which is lacking these days. Our daughter uses it in Grade 10 English.

This is number four that we bought, we started with Volume III last Fall, and worked our way through. Extremely helpful, not at all boring, holds the kids' interest and teaches such valuable basics---can't recommend this series highly enough.

This series of Vocabulary from Latin and Greek roots is an excellent supplement to regular school work. I had my child use it during summer break to expand vocabulary.
