I've tried several sleep masks, and THIS is the one to buy. Here's why it's markedly superior, and worth the price: First, the charging is done via USB-C, which is so much easier than micro-USB. The charging cable plugs directly into the mask hardware, and not into a port on a hair-thin wire that you have to stuff back into the mask, like on almost all others. The wire on those other masks will break quickly, but this mask's hardware charging connection isn't going to break. Next, the controls are so easy to use! Other masks use a fabric over internal buttons that can shift as the internals slide around, especially if you remove them to wash it. But this is a rigid plastic controller, which is study but you can't feel it when you sleep. The buttons are easy to feel and work precisely, but without them accidentally activating during your sleep. Third, the speakers are GREAT! No cheap, tinny, weak sound. These produce rich, indulgent tones. You'll actually hear the rumble of thunder, or the smooth binaural beats, and they DO provide not just stereo, but immersive sound (so you're not just listening to rain and thunder sounds, you're hearing it from within the storm). Fourth, the eye cups are so comfortable! They hold the mask away from your eyes, and there's breathable fabric that blocks light but stays cool. Also, it's padded around the nose form, so it's comfortable on your face but without letting light in. Fifth, the bluetooth pairing is instant, easy, and dependable. I haven't tested the full range yet, but it's worked everywhere I've walked in my room away from my iPhone. No stuttering or drops. IT's so ergonomic that I paired it right out of the box without even glancing at instructions.

So I have a few issues with “normal” sleep masks.1) I have an eyebrow piercing. 2) The mask tends to make my eyes water. 3) I don’t like the pressure it puts on my eyes, ultimately giving me a headache.I like to fall asleep listening to meditation music, and this is perfect. The padded eye sockets don’t press on my piercing, and it doesn’t put pressure on my eyes.I will say the speakers don’t precisely line up with my ears, but that’s ok, the sound quality makes up for it. I like that the mask completely blocks out any light, and it’s comfortable on the bridge of my nose. Even without music playing it makes a great sleep mask.My only gripe is when removing the speakers to clean, it can be a bit of a pain to get them back in.

The mask is comfortable. The sound is good. Easy to charge. Works well with my audible & spotify. I do think there needs to be an easy way to clean the mask OR create a fabric cover that is washable. Purchased in April and now the speaker sound is starting to cut off and on during my listening. It's only been 8 months - didn't last a year. Any suggestion other than purchasing a different mask?

I purchased the product as a Christmas gift for a wife initially but she found it uncomfortable, so I thought I’d give it a try. I found it to be very comfortable and works great blocking out any light. I use the Bluetooth function to listen to calm music or ambient noise to go to sleep and I find it to be very helpful. So far the only criticism I have is the built-in ambient noise function is not very practical to use because you have to sort through all the noises, every time you turn it off and on to get to the one you want. This might be fine once or twice, but if you are purchasing the product to use the ambient noise every day and you want a noise that’s not at the beginning or the very end, you will have to scroll through them one by one to get to the sound you want every time you use it. It would be far more practical and usable. If the noise you selected, started there when you turn it off and on. For me, this is not a big deal because I don’t use that function. I have had several of these kind of headsets, and I’ve spent a little bit less and a lot more, this is definitely the best one I’ve used. Also, the sound quality is fantastic compared to the other sleep assisting headsets I’ve owned. Obviously, obviously, it doesn’t compare to my Bose headsets but it’s much better than the price point would suggest.

The mask itself is very soft and comfortable and it does a good job blocking light. The speakers are cheap but acceptable for playing some soft music or white noise while sleeping. They're certainly not winning any sound quality awards though. My biggest issue is with the location of the control box/battery. It sits right in the middle of my forehead and for some reason they decided to put it on the inside of the mask with very little padding between it and my face. For that reason, it is very noticeable and presses into your face while wearing it. The box is very hard and doesn't feel great. It's not necessarily painful just annoying. I feel like placing the box on the outside of the mask would have been a much better choice. I may try to use a velcro strip or something to put it on the front of the mask instead of in the pouch it's supposed to go in. It's not bad enough to be a dealbreaker but it is an annoyance.Update: I moved the box to the front of the mask (where it should have been to begin with) and attached it with a velcro strip. MUCH more comfortable there since it's on the outside with no pressure squeezing it against my face as well as a lot more padding between the box and my face. I don't understand why they didn't just put the pouch to hold it on the outside of the mask instead of the inside, very poor design choice. Not changing my rating, because I shouldn't have to modify a product to make it functional, but it is at least much more usable and comfortable now.

Love the fit of the mask, comfy and cool. The speakers fit precisely as they should. BUT after only one night of bliss, the speakers started to disconnect seconds after connecting. I tried connecting to each of my iPhone (with a Fitbit also on blue tooth) and iPad (no other attachments) but no luck. Currently in return/refund process and contemplating reordering because I really did like it! Two stars because mask is awesome.

Works great for what I wanted it for. The only downside was that I couldn't quite hear the audio well at all on an aeroplane, since it's not really built for noise reduction

Comfortable to sleep with when the temperature is colder, blocks out light sufficiently, great for just resting and relaxing or having a phone call at night and you want to block out the light. Charges easy.
