The best smock bib
These are THE BEST smock type bibs. We have three of them, and I will probably buy more. Before introducing our baby to solids I thought the silicon pocket bibs were the move but no. You need the arms covered as well, especially if you’re trying any sort of baby led weaning because the food ends up all over the place. If your baby has sensitive or eczema prone skin, it’s important to keep irritating foods off of the skin as well, and that’s where the sleeves come in handy. They have held up well in the washing machine, and you can get away with hand washing/rinsing them at times as well for not so messy messes. No stains so far after three months of frequent use. I’ve not seen any liquid bleed through onto the shirt underneath. The prints are also adorable. These check all the boxes for us!

Would buy again
Easy to put on, cleans up nicely. I like the full arm length and bigger bib area to keep more food off the clothes. Love the Jasmin print too

Nice baby smock
These are good quality and get the job done. No more messy clothes after a feed. They wash well and hang dry easily. Also easy to wipe down between washes.

BLW, Twin Mom Smock Comparison
First off, yes I have my hands full.TLDR: Buy Bumkins. Twinkle stretches out.I bought 2 Bumkins and 2 Twinkle smocks and thought I would compare them for others on the fence.Bumkins Pros:- Great elastic at wrist! Still stretchy after heavy, regular use for both my petite twin and chunkier twin. No food goes up their wrist/arm.- Easy to clean fabric, I rinse both smocks in hot water after every meal and machine wash every 2 days/4 uses. Yes, mine stained. I stain treated the first time and it helped but ain’t nobody got time for that. Hang dry, but have been in a pinch and used the dryer. They feel very clean and have not broken down.- “Extra material” is a BLESSING! Snip out the seam making 2 pockets like others said, to make one big one. It will catch food at restaurants better. But if you have the Antilop IKEA chair, before snapping the trails down, hook the pocket on under the tray hooks then push down. Food stay off their laps AND out of their seats! Plus they can easily pick up food from their pocket. So less waste! When removing the tray pop it up like normal, then bring forward and the bib will unhook, and remaining food fall back into the top of the bib keeping the seat cushion clean.- Water resistant! Both twins drink from an open cup and their clothes stay dry.Bumkins Cons:- You have to rip a seam out to create 1 big pocket, else the 2 are completely useless.- The tie close is a pro and con. It slips if not double knotted, making it also annoying to take off once done.- Stains, just like the rest of the other smocks.Twinkle Pros:- Nice packaging!- Very thick fabric, that cleans well.- Hardly stains at all! Ours is only darker in some places. Even post pasta sauce!- Velcro neck for easy on and off.- Prettier fabric designs.- Water resistant, both twins drink from an open cup and both clothes stay dry.Twinkle Cons:- It’s tapered compared to Bumkins and the material is too thick, meaning it’s difficult to snap my high chair tray on top of it just right to keep food out. This is a huge draw back for me!- The elastic wrist gave it up in 3-4 months of use. So we have to roll these up a specific way to keep food out and to not fall down covering babies hands. This is THE draw back for me and why I won’t buy more. It got used and washed less, yet the wrist are like double the size of our Bumkins.- The velcro neck won’t go any tighter and I have stained necks on the clothes of my petite twin.- Pretty, but less functional.

Buy No Other Bib
Bottom line - buy the bibRecently new mom here, so naturally I was flooded with cute baby bibs as gifts. Some were the traditional plastic bib with adjustable back ties and others were simple cloth bibs. Initially all these bibs seemed the same to me. But oh wrong I was! I didn't realize a 6 month old could be filled with as many opinions as mine. After many days of strapping him into his highchair, which he equates to the likes of being imprisoned, and strapping on one bib to another, I realized I in fact have a particular 6 month old.A bib with a pouch to catch the food particles he doesn't enjoy is a necessity. An easy to wipe down bib? Necessity. Adjustable closure to fit around his ever hefty growing neck? Necessity. I finally found a bib meeting all these parameters, but my little guy continued to make a mess. Perhaps the bib wasn't placed tightly enough around his neck due to all the rolls. Perhaps he was displeased with the color. Who knows. Other than feeding him in a bathtub the easiest solution seemed to be a sleeved bib. This bib has met all of my expectations and beyond! I can place it over his entire body and he thinks it's just another outfit piece, so I don't get many complaints. It can catch everything that dribbles out his mouth when he's too excited to focus on what's next to eat. The adjustable neck tie is great for his ever expanding neck. He seems to enjoy being able to lick food from the front AND the arms of the bib now. I can easily rinse it in the sink when he's finished and now I don't have to wash him in the sink too! Overall it's made me much happier, my little guy much happier, and saved quite a few outfits.

Cuts Down on Cleanup!
This sleeved bib is awesome! It’s perfect for my son who just started eating solids and can get super messy. I was worried about it being too big at first, but it’s easily adjustable and fits my 5 month old (15 lbs, 25 inches) really well. I can easily wipe it down after he eats, or even quickly scrub in the sink using dish soap. To clean more in-depth I wash it in the laundry machine once a week and it comes out looking like new. This has saved so many outfits from my messy little eater. I also love the variety of fun prints this comes in, so cute!

Works as described
This bib is a lifesaver!! It protects clothes from getting completely covered in food. Some food can still fall down the front of the bib, but it's SO much better than a regular bib. The elastic sleeves help keep the baby's sleeves clean too. You can roll up the shirt sleeves before putting the bib on and that helps as well. Just be sure to check the bib pockets for food crumbs when washing! Sometimes food falls in there :) The bib fabric is a little thin, but it does the job. I've used it for several months now, and it's held up well. It's easy to wipe off when finished. I've gotten lots of compliments on it!

Cute bib
Good quality. A little big for my 7 month old but I’m sure he’ll grow into it.

we love it!
As a HK fan I want my daughter to be the same! So we need to have all things hello kitty :)…This is a beautiful product, great quality, washes very easily and we have put them in the dryer a couple of times and is still perfect (I do wash it after every meal but most of the time we let it air dry)

Not the same quality as one bought in store
Bought one of these at local store, loved it so ordered this one off Amazon. The packaging appears to be the same as the one I previously purchased but the quality of the bib is terrible. One of the elastics in the sleeve has come undone. The material is different on this one and after washing it the back started peeling away so now my baby gets soaked wearing it as it no longer repels any water. I would not purchase this.

Functional
This bib came exactly as described. I like the elastics on the sleeves as it keeps arms clean. The material is easy to clean for every day messes and can even be put in the wash when needed. The only thing I find a bit aggravating is that the material is loose on my 8 month old, so I have to keep pulling it down so she can eat comfortably, but since the bib is supposed to be used from babies 6 month to toddlers of two years, the size makes sense and I am sure she will grow into it.
