Seem grate but time will tell.

As you can see from my photo, these are smaller than a quarter. They remind me of a small eraser - same rubbery texture. I tossed one in each of the small drawers and parts compartments in the tool box I haul around during the summer, as it tends to sit around unopened for a couple of weeks at a time - or an entire winter. I hate opening it up to a rust bloom on all the tools, and wiping them al with oil or wax is a pain. Really handy size for smaller areas.

Product has great claims for a 2 year stop rust. Need some real time to truly evaluate. Is easy to use and if they work will deserve a 5 star rating...

These tablets came in a resealable bottle with 50 tablets. This product works by releasing a gas over time that coats surfaces and helps prevents rusting. These will only work if are in a fairly closed container; drawer, box or bag. I like using them in drawers with my wrenches and pliers since my tool chest isn't in a climate controlled area. This product will leave a film on the objects so I don't recommend using it with things were that would be undesirable aka gears for a transmission or something like that. I think these are a great product for the average home garage mechanic as it will help prevent rust on rarely used tools.

These work well in a tool box I keep under the back seat of my truck to help keep my wrenches from rusting. After opening the bottle and using some. I took a piece of cellophane and placed over the top of the bottle then put the lid back on to help keep it air tight. I would not put these in my fishing tackle box.. The chemical that prevents rust wouldn't taste good to the fish. Doubt they would bite a hook with this on it. 5 stars for keeping my tools rust free!

I like my tools to stay in rust-free shape, despite the fact that I don't use them every day. I especially dislike it when my wire brushes develop rust. I'll put these desiccation pads into my toolbox where they should serve me well. And there will be plenty left over, so I'll be thinking of lots of other places for them too.

Great for tool boxes or tool cabinets/drawers. These sublimation cubes basically go from solid to gas and form a shield on metal. I haven't had them long enough to compare with silica products. These act in a different way so there might not be much to compare anyway...
