These packing bags were such a big help on my recent trip! They let me pack light so that I had a lot of room for souvenirs. I bought two boxes so that I could get extra small bags, so I ended up with the hand pump and the small battery powered pump. I thought I would like the battery powered pump better, but I was wrong. The hand pump is a little large, but it works so well!! It definitely works better than the battery pump that came with my set.The bags are sturdy. We unpacked and repacked them repeatedly on our trip, and only one of ten we were using started to leak. I would definitely buy these again.

Excellent purchase. These travel vacuum compression bags really work well. Easy and efficient. The bigger bag there are two pairs of blue jeans and three long sleeve thermal shirts. The smaller bag has six men’s boxers and three men’s soxes. The portable electric pump is small but powerful. Will fit in the suitcase without taking up valuable space. I would highly recommend.

I ordered these bags to use for my son to go to summer camp. Kids had to have a beach towel, bath towel, sheets and blanket all in one suitcase with a week of clothing. I love that the vacuum is portable and rechargeable and it worked VERY well to get the air out and compress the bags to make more space. The bags were easy to use. They were thick enough to not tear easily and the zipper at the top was easy to pop on and slide the bag shut. The vacuum was easy to use.The only thing that kept this from 5 stars is the size of the bags. While I should have paid more attention to the sizes of the bags included, really only 2 were usable for my purposes. The others were just too small to really be able to fit any sort of clothing - I'm not sure what the XS bags would be useful for. (To be clear, I was able to put both a beach towel and a thin bath towel into the biggest bag, which is a size S. And I put his sheets into the other size S bag.)All, in all, this is a great product - just make sure you realize what size bags you are ordering.

Used these to travel with Allegiant since you can only have a backpack. Fit weeks worth of clothes in the lg bag and still had plenty of room for my other items. The vac pump works good, but if you have access to a reg vacuum I would use that for just a a little extra compression.

I bought this for my trip to Bali!! It was the best purchase. If you need the vacuum right when you get it you can definitely use it without charging. The only thing is: I wish there was an on and off switch instead of a button. I kept accidentally hitting it in my bag when I was switching planes. Other than that it holds a charge! I was out of the country for 8 days and switched to 3 different villas and used the vacuum each and every time without having to charge it again!! Great storage capacity and don’t fill over the line. Rolling your clothes helps as well for an even more compact space. Hope this helps someone else out too!

This was awesome. I went on a cruise and used these to pack my bag and stay organized. They even came in handy for dirty clothes. Kept everything separated. On some occasions, I didnt have to completely unpack, I just opened the suitcase and took out the one outfit I had sealed. The vacuum was quick and handy.

We bought these bags for an extended vacation. We purchased the hand pump because we thought it would avoid any potential problems with an electric pump. Wrong! The bags were very sturdy, and we had no trouble packing and traveling to our destination. We saw the pump was cheap plastic, but we thought it should hold up and do the job. However, when it came time to repack and return home, the first time we used the hand pump, there was a 'pop' and it quit suctioning! So beware of the pump and be prepared to have a solution!

Overall works very well. Seals tightly, hand pump definitely pulls all the air out. Only concern is approximately eight hours later when I took the package out of my suitcase, it was still pretty collapsed, but I noticed some air was getting in. Seems like it might hold the vacuum just long enough for you to get to your destination in some circumstances. But it doesn’t stay vacuum sealed completely. Deserves better than three stars. (Average/unremarkable) but not 5 stars (perfect/can’t be improved). NOTE: have not used the electric pump. Also, the blue slide clamps are useless feature - not mandatory; can easily seal it using your fingers.
