Perfect minimalistic case
I hate even having to use a case, but it's a necessary evil. This is the third time I've bought this case (Pizel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and now Pixel 8 pro) and they've been great. They look and feel great, don't add any bulk, and believe it or not, they DO actually add protection! I've dropped the previous phones multiple times with no damage. Doesn't really protect the screen though, in case of a face down drop.

Feels great in the hand
You aren't getting a case this thin for a lot of protection. It's about giving extra grip. This does just that. Looking at the screen, I don't really notice my phone has a case on it.This is my second case for this phone in the year I've had it. I always go minimal like this, but this is a borderline "skinned" feeling, so if you are not comfortable with literally the bare minimum, this isn't for you.As for the feel itself, it definitely gives the phone better grip than it being bare, but I expected more of that carbon fiber grip to this case than how it feels. It's the only real reason it's getting 4 stars.Still, if you are a minimalist when it comes to a case, this is definitely one of the thinnest I've ever had on a phone next to just skinning the phone, so I recommend it

Perfect fit for Pixel 8 Pro
It is very slim and fits perfectly. It is very easy to install but removing it is very difficult but it is expected since it is a carbon fiber so I am okay with it.

Terrible and Overpriced
Note: I received this product through the Amazon Vine programAs someone who has always favored minimalist phone cases, I'm always on the lookout for new options. Having recently received my Pixel 8 Pro, I'm on the hunt for awesome new cases.I saw this "aramid fiber" option pop up in the Vine program and instantly ordered it. It just arrived, and I couldn't be more disappointed. But I guess that's what I get for gambling on an alphabet soup case...have never done that before, and won't be doing it again. The only positive I can say is that it's a lightweight, minimalist case...as described (in that regard). The negatives, however, are numerous. And please keep in mind that I recently purchased (with my own money) an aramid fiber case from Thinborne, which I'm returning. Why? Because it's overpriced at $40. They include 2 screen protectors and an extremely expensive box with the case. Having spent years working in product marketing, I know how much these things cost. The case itself was nice, but the value wasn't there because they WAY overspent on the fancy box.And yet, this review isn't for the Thinborne...it's for this case with a name written in Chinese characters on the package and an alphabet soup name on the Amazon listing page.So yeah, the case is lightweight and ultra slim, but it doesn't seem to be of aramid fiber. It's either carbon fiber (unlikely), or a plastic that looks like carbon fiber. If it is real aramid fiber, then it's of dramatically lower quality than the Thinborne. The cutouts for the speakers and around the camera lenses are not straight. There are small lips at each corner of the case in an effort (I presume) to keep the screen off the surface when placed screen down... nice thought, if intentional, but the lips are cut unevenly. Why would someone want such a cheap looking case on a $1000+ phone? If someone told me this was a prototype, I would believe them. But a finished product from an actual production line? No way. While I criticized the Thinborne case for coming in an overly expensive box, this came in a cheap cardboard box, with no screen protectors...for $35?? Considering the negatives above, this is highway robbery. And that's coming from a Vine reviewer who effectively received the product for free aside from the tax implications (you can look that up if you're interested).I will not use this case. Doesn't seem to be real aramid fiber, cutouts are a joke, and way overpriced (at any price). 1 star because I can't give 0 stars. I can't urge you strongly enough to NOT waste your money on this case. Even if it was half the price, a quarter of the price, a penny even...pay more for the overpriced Thinborne, at least it's a quality bit of kit.A suggestion for the alphabet soup company, GIMENOHIG - if you're going to intentionally put your product in the hands of reviewers, you'd better get your manufacturing straight (quite literally since the corners and cutouts are anything but straight).

Surprisingly good for the price. Camera cutout doesnt line up perfectly tho.
Bought this case not knowing it was a "fake" no brand case but when it came the quality was surprisingly good. Not sure if its real carbon fiber, but the weave on it sure does feel real. The camera cutout doesnt line up exactly but thats just a minor complaint.

The lightest, slimmest case with good protection.
I love aramid fiber cases and this is a good one. It provides a tight and secure fit on the phone, so it almost feels like you have no case at all. The material is very strong, and very slim. It feels about as thick as a playing card (I haven't measured that). If you don't want to put any case on your phone, but know it needs one, this is the case for you. The screen is completely unobscured by the edges, and the buttons are also left uncovered.
