This thing works fast and easy. All the other types I tried wouldn't let the egg white through without tapping it hard and that would alwaysbreak the yolk. This tool is perfect.

This thing works great! I only have experience using a small plastic spoon like device that came with a hand mixer and that one wasn’t very good.This works great and is sturdy. It has hooks so I can place it over a container or cup to catch the egg whites.If you are baking somewhat frequently this will come in handy at some point.I bought it when making 24 servings of creme brûlée which required separating 20+ egg yolks and this worked great
