Double Blessing San Diego Bebe TWIN Lavender Minky Dot

When found out I was having twins, this pillow was on the list of recommended gear, so I got it. I have one older boy who I never used a boppy or anyhting with because I found them in the way so I can say I was skeptical at best, but having never had twins, I thought I better defer to experts. THEY WERE RIGHT! I'm a big fan of individually nursing my twins because I feel it gives me better bonding time, but for those many, many times that they have other plans (like not wanting to wait for the other to be done to eat, or they wake at the same time and are both crying for food,) it has saved my life, and probably my sanity.The sturdy foam makes it easy to hold them up at the same time. You have to do relatively litte to no lifting. My twins love the soft material and the cover is nice to have since you are having to expose everything at once, but if you don't want it on, its removeable. It simply makes life with twins so much easier (and every bit helps.)My olny problems were that the cover gets in the way if your not using it (the side storage doesn't work very well.) So I usually just take it off when I'm at home. Also my twins are now 8 months old and the pillow is starting to sink (my 2 yr old jumping on it didn't help that.) Finally, the back pillow is pretty much manditory if you are smaller but doesn't stay in place very well unless you are leaning back on it. None of them are so bad that they would cause me more than a minor inconvenience.Overall I think that the product is great, and I would recommend it to anyone. I would even use it if I had just one baby becase it is so sturdy and easy to hold your baby up high enough to reach your breast (the failing the boppy had was that it was too low down for my long torso.)

I am a mother of twins and bought the smaller "single" version of this pillow this for a plane trip so I could have privacy while en-route. Figured my husband would have one twin while I nursed the other. Let me tell you, this was a life-saver for me. The pillow is eco-friendly, made of an eco-fiber pillow (NOT foam!), so no nasty fire-retardant chemicals are used. Then it has this beautifully soft plush fabric cover AND a built-in nursing cover up. So I was able to nurse without ANYONE seeing my skin OR my baby. Even after I nursed, my baby fell asleep underneath the cover - which blocked out noise and overhead lighting. Once home, I used the TWIN pillow (San Diego Bebe TWIN that I received as a baby shower gift) which allows me to nurse TWO babies at once! PLUS the TWIN pillow also has the same cool nursing cover up attached right to the pillow cover, so if I'm nursing and someone comes in, I can easily have discretion when I want it. When I'm not using it, it just tucks inside an outer pocket. I LOVE the fact there is no zipper. I had a My Brest Frend pillow for baby #3 and the zipper broke and I lost the slider, so I had to pin the cover and couldn't remove it to wash it! I love the washable Velcro on this pillow - super easy, on and off, and nothing to BREAK. This is a quality-made product that is eco-friendly and it has made my life with twins so much easier. So I bought this pillow, thinking it would help support my babies while I nursed. It did quite the opposite. I had to sit in a straight backed chair, that I couldn't even slide all the way into, also had to stay extremely still otherwise one of the babies would roll right off of the pillow, plus I had to lean forward for them to even reach my chest. The only part even worth anything would be the cover that goes around your neck, and even that was uncomfortable. I have had better luck just using two regular pillows propped up on each side and have nursed that way. Bottom line, if you absolutely have to have a nursing pillow, DO NOT waste your money on this particular one.

For breastfeeding twins, this was a fantastic pillow.

Pros: Very firm nursing pillow. There is quite a bit of substance here so you don't have to worry about it squishing too much.Very comfortable.Cons: None that I can think of.

I didn't really get to use this pillow as much as I had hoped, but I do have some useful information for future twin moms. This pillow had enough room for two babies and was comfortable to use. I'm not sure how you are supposed to use that middle piece though. My twins had about a 3 pound difference when they were born. I did manage to get them to feed together a couple times and it was more difficult when I had to balance the pillow and get them to latch. The pillow seemed too big for just one baby to nurse. It was comfy and pretty (I purchased the purple).

Any mother who has or is having twins this is a blessing. This was purchased for our daughter who just recently had twins and it work wonderfully for feeding time. It is firm and support two babies very well as well as saves the mothers back and affords privacy with the curtain. Good price and shipped two day directly from Amazon.

These twin girls are a real arm-full. One at a time or trying both together, the Double Blessing San Diego Bebe Twin Minky Dot was perfect. Very comfortable.
