Double Blessings San Diego Bebe Eco-Nursing Pillow Color: Blue

I am a mother of twins and bought this for a plane trip so I could have privacy while en-route...Figured my husband would have one twin while I nursed the other. Let me tell you, this was a life-saver for me. The pillow is eco-friendly, made of an eco-fiber pillow (NOT foam!), so no nasty fire-retardant chemicals are used. Then it has this beautiful soft plush fabric cover AND a built-in nursing cover up. So I was able to nurse without ANYONE seeing my skin OR my baby. Even after I nursed, my baby fell asleep underneath the cover - which blocked out noise and overhead lighting. Once home, I used the TWIN pillow (called San Diego Bebe TWIN that I received as a baby shower gift) which allows me to nurse TWO babies at once! PLUS the TWIN pillow also has the same cool nursing cover up attached right to the pillow cover, so if I'm nursing and someone comes in the room or if I'm at a park with my other kids, I can easily have discretion when I want it. When I'm not using it, it just tucks inside an outer pocket. I LOVE the fact there is no zipper. I had a My Brest Frend pillow for baby #3 and the zipper broke and I lost the slider, so I had to pin the cover and couldn't remove it to wash it! I love the washable Velcro on this pillow - super easy, on and off, and nothing to BREAK. This is a quality-made product that is eco-friendly and it has made my life with twins so much easier. Thank you Double Blessings for helping me with my Double Blessings! Also, the first reviewer commented about the thickness of the pillow. I have used a Boppy with baby #1 and MyBreastfriend with Babies #2 and #3. And this pillow is definitely firmer and thicker than either of them. It brings babies right up to my breast-level! so I don't have to hunch over the pillow. The package says it was designed by a nursing mother of twins, and I believe it. This is a well thought out design and finally something other than Boppy or MBF to choose from! It is MY NEW best friend!!!

The pillow is not thick enough to place on your lap and have the baby/babies high enough to nurse. The cover is attached by velcro - not a zipper. I would think over time this would be a pain to put back on after washing. In addition, the cover only provides privacy from the front. My whole breast is exposed from any other angle. There is not enough coverage on the side.The pillow is soft, and a good idea - just not well developed. Don't waste your money.
