Great Value and a Great Build!
This is the second FunWhole brand brick kit that I have purchased and once again, it was a great purchase! This set is definitely for those 16+ in age - some difficulty with the lighting kit, but that's part of what my brother and I like about this brand. The instructions are well drafted in terms of dimensions, but the colors could be a little more clear. For example, there was a dowel piece that looked black in the instructions but it turned out to be a dark grey. I think this kit is well worth the cost. It's much cheaper than other brands and takes a long time to build. My brother and I spent at least 5 hours on it last Saturday and only completed the first 4 sets of bag out of 15 total bags. I would highly recommend this kit for those who enjoy building brick kits for a lower price.

Great building experience
As always Funwhole brings us fun and great building experience. Very good quality, excellent lighting kit. Forget about the great danish company - this is really worth it! The only thing we didn't like that much are the decals, which funwhole doesn't provide in their latest models (all prints now).

Liked it a lot but I have a couple of Issues...
First off, I'm a 73-year old woman. I really liked this kit a lot but I have a couple of "issues." First, the good news. I think the bricks feel very much like Lego blocks. I've worked with other brands and the bricks were absolutely awful. It is quite a beautiful project and the electrical part of it is not that difficult to install as it is incorporated in the instructions. Patience and attention My husband actually bought me a 3 volt converter so that I can actually plug this into the wall outlet and not use up batteries. The instruction booklet is very much like a Lego book and, with just a couple of hiccups on my part, was very easy to follow. The not-so-good news: I did very well until I got to the 11th bag. Some of the sections are so elaborate with so many parts that before the final stabilizing part is actually attached, the section would fall or cave in on itself. For example, the ceiling with skylights. The section was quite long with many different parts and before I could actually attach the section on either end to the building, the skylights kept falling apart. After about two hours of being unable to connect this section, I decided to just super glue the skylights together. I solved the issue on one of the rounded glass doorways with an overhand awning the same way because the door wouldn't stay in place and the 2-part awning kept splitting. It is a complicated set to put together and it did take a lot of time, but the end result is quite beautiful. It is not a Lego set but it also didn't cost the same as a Lego set would. In the end, I would consider buying another Funwhole set (hate the name, by the way) but not one as elaborate as this one. This was definitely an ambitious project but well-worth it in the end.

LIT brick building set that is compatible with LEGO
This set is a full sized brick building set. Really well designed and appointed! A great gift for your brick building family or friends....or yourself! This set is fully lit, hides the wires really well, and you build the lights in as you go! You don't have to tear down anything after you build. There are some really great parts included that hide the wires so that when you finish, you have a great looking set, both without lights and with lights! Highly recommend!

Great set for the money
This is one of my favorite buildings in my Lego world. Great lighting comes with it and simple instructions 👍

I just opened the box
I'm already impressed by just the sheer quantity of pieces! We got a text book for the instruction manual, my wife and I are going to be working on this for months! We are already bookmarking more sets from this seller, 10/10!

Great set with some major setbacks
Great addition to have, very detailed and was fun to put together. Looks great as a completed set with a lot to explore and look at.Reason for 3 stars-There are a few structural failures in this set that hinder it greatly, especially at the pivoting points. This set is not designed to be able to be played with (not my intention) and WILL fall apart and is extremely fragile if moved around and or picked up. Most of the F.W. sets arent designed to be played with, but for display. (At least hopefully thats their intention. if not, they're completely failing at designing for it to be played with) I've purchased many of their sets already and this one has one of the worst structural integrity issues I've come across.Buyer Beware

Good but not great
I love the design, that’s why I bought this set and I’m very happy on that front. The directions are also pretty clear, so that’s a real plus considering it has the lighting to incorporate.I just wish the bricks were higher quality. They look and feel noticeably cheaper than the real thing. I think the price is reasonable but you also have to consider there’s no resale value. When I shell out $100 for a Lego set, I know that I can likely break even or maybe even come out ahead if I hold onto them for a few years. Or I can donate them to Lego’s charity and know they will have a good second life. Not true with a set like this. Ultimately it’s headed for the landfill someday. So far they stay together okay - unlike Mega Construx. And I didn’t let the quality issues deter me from buying the majority of their Monster High sets. So, I might buy another set in this theme down the line.
