Ok, I'm not sure what the point of it is, is it for boxing? We already have things that work for that. I think this is for general use like they show for playing basketball but i think it would be better if they could muster up more ways to use this. Of course this is a very multi purpose item. You could essentially use it for any reason you wanna protect your face and for that reason alone this is worth purchasing for no reason. You just never know when you might need it. My only gripe with it was that it seemed a bit uncomfortable but I had not used the foam yet because I don't know where to put it yet. It feels really sturdy, which is amazing for such a small item. I don't know how they got it to be this tough and yet gentle on your face for the most part. I will update with its multi purpose use.

This lightweight, face mask can be adjusted to fit your face with the use of several stick-on pads provided. There are pads included for the forehead and cheeks. The mask also includes a head strap that can easily be adjusted with four straps that have velcro ends. After finding the perfect fit, you can easily slide the mask on and off.

My cpap mask comes with a stretchy elastic H-shaped strap that is the same shape as the strap system for this thing. It would immensely add to comfort and secure fitting in a collision or just to be able to easily readjust the mask, remove it, and put it on without it being an ordeal. Seems like a no-brainer for a mask that is such high quality.My nose isn't a Cyrano de Bergerac, but I think it is on the larger size and this mask has a nice little air gap between it and my nose and has pads to rest the mask against the forehead and cheek bones. So when you take a hit the force won't go straight onto your nose and it'll be distributed over some of the much harder bone of the skull.It's really lightweight and the carbon fiber look is hella cool. Maybe I'll become a crime-fighting vigilante. Since my glasses can fit under it, I'll be able to see them!

Protective, comfortable, good visibility:This face guard offers good protection to the upper face. The mask is as rigid as expected, given the carbon fiber material, but surprisingly comfortable and soft once the included pads are put on. The mask itself can feel a little hard and uncomfortable without the pads, but once put in position, they help the mask grip your face effectively while offering a bit of cushioning to make it more comfortable. I've also worn similar masks in the past which obscured my vision quite a bit - thankfully this mask, while making you look kind of like a racoon, does allow full visibility thanks to the large eye holes.Overall, this is a good mask and I would recommend.
