Very pleased
Very good value for money with this blind, i found it good quality with a metal internal tube. The fixtures are plastic but as long as you dont over tighten you will be fine. I had some left over fabric because i had to cut it ro fit so i made a top cover that stops light coming on from above the blind itself. Easy DIY job and looks good.

Nice blind but make sure you have your own screws.
I bought it for my studio so I decided to go for a used one sold via Amazon. I paint and draw with charcoal and knew I'd get it dirty in no time so I thought why waste money (I do not care if it's not perfect). I actually got a very nice clean blind, the only thing was the packaging was slightly broken.Unfortunately, despite my previous inquiry with Amazon, the warehouse team did NOT check if all the parts were in it. See these blinds require this one small "guber" thingy, a part that at the very end secures the mechanism from falling out. Tiny piece, but rather important, and my package didn't have it... ups!. I didn't want to go through the fuss of returning the item so I first went looking for a replacement kit and here's another important thing to know. The pole is constructed in a way that in cross section it's not round (it has an extra indent) and that makes it impossible to use any other mechanism than Debel's. In the end I figured out I could use a white cable tie to secure the pole. You can't see it but it prevents the pole from falling out after you've secured it.Also we had to use different screws. Whoever designed the plastic parts that hold the blind was smart. They designed it so that you can put the screws in (leaving the plastic part out), then slide the plastic part over the screws' heads sideways and then tighten the screws. Sadly whoever put the screws in the kit wasn't so smart and provided screws with huge heads that make the very smart design useless unless you get your own screws. This is probably why so many people have complained of how easy it is to break the plastic part. I can imagine it would be if you put the screws in while holding the plastic part at the same time - one slip of a hand and that's it.The mechanism that rolls and unrolls the blind is also a bit stiff so you have to be very careful (mainly when pulling the blind up, going down it seems easier).

Cheap and nasty
I am so disappointed! I have installed many blinds of varying types over the years but this is by far the worst I have ever come across. Firstly the paper instructions with the product are brief and diagrammatic, it's best to scan the QR code and watch the YouTube videos but they are pretty limited, potentially confusing and inadequate in terms of clarity. These are essentially minor grumbles because the main issue is the quality of the product. There are horizontal lines across the fabric suggesting some issue with machining that was obviously not picked up on any quality control. I did not not to cut the fabric but I would not have risked it anyway because the edges were frayed. One of the flimsy fixing brackets cracked before the screw was tightened (the screw incidentally has a non-standard head and requires a special tool). In short, I don't think this product could have been worse - a total waste of time and money. It seems I am required to award a minimum of one star so...one star it is, but it's reluctant!

No blackout lining and completely see through. Cheap plastic fittings broke
Cheap plastic fittings which snapped in half the moment we tried to put it up. Luckily we have some really strong plastic glue. Hasn’t got blackout material it’s just a black blind that you can see through. I was trying to redecorate my little boys bedroom as a surprise and if I had more time to go and get another blind before the big reveal I would have. Awful quality and massively overpriced.

Not happy at all/ Edited
The fabric looks nice, the instructions are very clear, the product was delivered prior than estimated which was nice. Now, for the sad part: Upon screwing and adjusting the left-hand part, it snapped, as it shows on the photo! So now it's all ruined, it can't be mounted on the window, I can't use it for the purpose it was bought and I have no idea what to do with the product! What a waste of money and time!FOLLOW-UP: I purchased a replacement kit with metal parts from Amazon and put the blinds up finally! Now I can honestly say that these blinds look very nice on my window, they provide us with the neccessary shade when needed, they are very easy to put in place and to use and they also provide with good thermal insulation. Therefore I reviewed my 2-star overall rating and definitely change it to a 4-star rating.

Effective and good value blackout blind
This is the cheapest blackout blind I could find and it's great. It was easy to put up though I did use my own screws as it comes with annoying torx head screws.I ordered it in white and it blocks out all the light, although the instructions recommend putting it up with the coloured side facing outwards otherwise more light comes in at the sides. This means the side facing inside is light grey but it doesn't bother me.Bear in mind that for it to truly block the light out, you do need a really good fit right up the edges of the windows. Unfortunately, my window is a strange size so there's a couple of cm gap each side which means light is still let in. However, I also have blackout curtains and the combination of this blind with the curtains means it stays pretty dark in the room. I could have ordered a slightly wider sized blind and cut it to size but I couldn't be bothered!

Simple but effective
Can't really fault product apart from what others have mentioned about the screws. If you have decent screws already then use them, the one's provided are useless. Fairly simple to put together and the one I ordered fitted window perfectly. Don't expect to much help from the instructions, it only provides basic diagrams. Delivery time was excellent to, arrived following day. Good purchase!
