Mr. Beams MB706 Wireless Motion-Sensing Mini Stick-Anywhere LED Nightlights, Small, White, 6-Pack

Using this product in a staircase and they work great. There is an overhead light in this area, but sometimes someone forgets to turn it on before heading down the stairs. These lights solved the problem.I waited a while before reviewing because I wanted to make sure they worked properly. As I stated above they work great, but I now have a problem. The batteries need to be changed in a couple of them and I'll be danged if I can get them open to change the batteries. The lights are stuck to the wall on the side of the staircase and pressing in on the side of the case and pulling up does not open them. I'm afraid if I pull any harder it will rip the sheetrock paper. I'll figure it out eventually. Other than this problem I'm satisfied with the product.07/01/2017 - Ok, here's an update: I finally had to (very carefully) pull the lights off the wall. Upon doing so I found that in order to open the case to change batteries you have to pull down on the outside case so that it slides open. My problem was that I had put them too close to the staircase trim so it was impossible to push down on the case. My fault totally I should have realized this when I initially put the batteries in. I will try to come up with a better way to mount them (Velcro maybe?).I have therefore changed my rating to 5 stars since my original 4 star rating was based on my own stupidity.

We originally bought these motion lights for a dark stairway, but soon realized they would be perfect throughout the house. We also place them on walls about 12" up off the floor to light up hallways for safe walking at night. They are perfect fo closets without electricity. Their use is endless. The sensitivity on them is excellent. They are very bright. The battery life is really impressive. I installed four lights on a stairway going to a basement family room in August 2020. I started changing batteries on them in January. They would have lasted longer if not for 2 cats that need to go to the basement for the box. I could not be happier with these lights.

I ordered these for the stairs in my house. Our bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs and both my partner and I almost killed ourselves multiple times getting up to use the bathroom at night. They were very easy to install and we have been using them for almost 6 months now without having to change the batteries yet. The motion detection works great and stays on for the perfect amount of time. I like that they don't come on when it isn't dark so that it doesn't waste batteries. They are just bright enough to light your way down the stairs but they aren't overly bright. I think they are perfect for this type of application but if you need a really bright light then they may not be what you want. I would definitely recommend this product to help light up dark stairs.

The MB706 is shockingly bright for a device sporting 1 LED although not as bright as the MB723. Running off 4 AAA batteries the unit itself is a decent size, not too bulky but also with that being said, not incredibly attractive. The light itself is bright enough to provide safe passage down basement stairs, into a dark attic or crawl space and with some thought on placement of several units you do get enough illumination where overhead light isn't actually needed.Living in the Northeast with the new onslaught of hurricane weather we're trying to make sure we're more prepared. The MB706 was purchased along with several MB723 to give us the ability to traverse our home safely in the even the power was out. Utilizing battery driven devices ensures that we are always ready and prepared.Thus far the MB706 has met our expectations and we've managed to light a few closets in the house only using 2 of the lights and placing them on opposing sides of the door frame. In other areas we've placed 1 of them on near our master bathroom toilet so our 5 year old can use the bathroom at night without fumbling for switches. In our pantry they allow for better view while searching for that can of soup you knew you had 2 days ago.The motion sensing feature works nicely and has a decent range allowing you to stagger placement where one light will provide enough coverage to allow you to set off another light along the way.Overall a very nice addition to any home where you need extra light or want to use them as safety lights. I do wish though there was a nicer set possibly with different finishes such as brushed stainless steel or other colors to suit the varied rooms as the stark white limits one in regards to aesthetics.

When I first opened these I thought they felt a little cheap but they ended up looking really nice in our walk-in closet. Prior to these, we had no lighting in the closet. They work really well- the motion sensing is the best part! They all come on the second we open the closet doors, no fumbling around trying to find a switch. And we can now see in our closet! I will definitely be buying more for other areas of our apartment.

Don’t you just love when a product does what it’s supposed to do, without needing hand holding, incessant battery changing or fuss, in general? This is that product. LOVE these. One of the most handy household items in my home. Super convenient to light up closets & garage cabinet that tends to be dark.Battery life is long - we’ve owned approx 8 Mr Beams units for 2 years, and changed the batteries 1-2 times per unit (some are used more than others). The units in the garage have held up to tough Florida heat. It stays 80-90 degrees+ in our garage all summer.I adhered them with 3M damage free medium picture hanging strips. It has made changing out batteries very easy. Also if I ever wanted to relocate one, I wouldn’t damage my shelves in my expensive closet organization system. Adhere one strip to the unit, and one strip wherever you want light.These lights make it look like we spent even more on our closet organizers with custom lighting. Can’t say enough about these Mr Beams lights!
