These do seem high quality although expensive and I think they are worth it. They have all the height I would ever need for tarp. The accessoriesv are also high quality and will last.

I splurged on these after reading a review of another mfgr's telescoping pole and the reviewer mentioned this brand as stronger. They are long and kind of heavy, but I carry them in the car's roofbox, so the length and weight don't really matter to me. Easy to use, for sure! I collapsed the pole slightly at night, to undo my tent canopy, and the rubber covers kept the guy lines in place so setup the next morning was super simple. Just stuck in the pole and up went my canopy. (My tent canopy is also the rainfly and it was cold enough I wanted to close up my tent). So much nicer than regular 'pieced' poles. Nice to not have to take apart the pole pieces when I broke camp.This is obviously my first experience with telescoping poles. So I can't compare to other telescoping poles. But they were nice enough that I want more of them!BUT. The stakes have plastic heads and I snapped off - on two of the four - one side of the plastic head, trying to get them out of the sand. I realized (wish I'd known this from the start) that the *other* side of the plastic head has a HOLE perfect for a mallet 'cup hook' to use to pull on the stake. Still bummed I broke two of them and bummed they broke at all. The stake itself is okay (heavy steel about 3/16" in diameter and 8-9 inches long. I use plastic stakes mostly, because I'm beach camping but I used these, and they held in the sand. It is a shame the bent part that holds the guy line is the part that snapped off.The guy lines that came with these poles were sturdy and reflective, both qualities I appreciated.Overall, except for the stake head breaking, this is nice equipment and I thank whoever it was in the Amazon universe that recommended this brand. I also recommend these poles.

Great product and great quality

Held up during high winds, 20-45mph, staked down properly. EZ to lock pole into position desired and it holds. A bit pricey but function is good.
