The Lamp Berger fragrances really do get rid of nasty smells indoors , not just mask them. I smoke but I hate the smell of stale smoke and so far these oils are the strongest and most stylish I have found.The Amber Powder fragrance is a woody fragrance with a subtle sweetness which is not sickly.It's a favorite of mine and I tend to choose woody,oriental & spicy scents , rather than delicate floral or any fruity types. The scents can always be diluted if you find them too strong , with a neutral oil made by Lamp Berger . This 1 L deal is a great saving too . Some of you may be put off by the prices of the lamps but you can buy very reasonable lamps that are ornamental in your home & you save a fortune on plug in fresheners that use you're electricity too & aerosol sprays that merely mask a smell for 5 minutes & are unkind to the planet as well. If you like Winterwood , Mystery Patchouli , Cypress , Borneo Teak Wood , Charlston & New Orleans, you will love Amber Powder !

I buy this frequently, and it should have come in a plastic bottle as shown in the picture. A good, solid container that reflects the premium price they charge. This one however arrived in a bottle that could only be described as being like a flimsy cheap supermarket own label bath foam. The bottle is nowhere near as rigid as the previous one, and you have to be careful not to squeeze it when it's full otherwise the contents pour out. Now, instead of looking like a premium product, it looks cheap and nasty. No doubt the manufacturers trying to cut corners and save money - but not passing the savings on to the consumer. The scent was fine though, so I decanted it into the old container.

This is just the scent I have been looking for W.anted to try a new fragrance & this is gorgeous.

The Amber Powder scent smells SO nice. In fact the refill bottle smells better than the pre-filled diffuser clear cube bottles with the same scent. However, it’s not just the smell that’s slightly different. The consistency is also slightly different and priced to be a false economy. If had thought buying a large bottle was much better value than the cubes, but unlike a cube that will last at least 4 weeks (no matter how many reeds are in the bottle) this refil solution only lasts two days (same size bottle and supposedly the same solution as is sold in the reed diffuser bottles). I can just about justify the cost of a diffuser bottle once a month but I can’t justify the cost of this refil when it seems to last a week rather than the month. Overall false economy but smells amazing. If money isn’t an option - go for it because you won’t be disappointed with the smell. The longevity vs. cost however….

Lampe Berger smells tend to be a bit powdery so I always choose something fruity like orange or lemon- the other smells are too old fashioned for me sometimes. This one however is really nice: It is not overpowering but still has that typical orange cinnamon smell to it. You leave the lamp on for about 20 minutes a time so it lasts quite a while. And it does get rid of all those cooking smells without lingering in the air for hours- especially helpful in the winter when one cannot have the windows open all the time. As for the Lampe Berger system itself, my friend came to visit and, without knowing I had put it on, commented on the lovely smell of the house....it works!

have tried a few fragrances in my Lampe Berger - I like this one, it's pretty relaxing and the smell is very powerful - great for deoderising "bad" room smells.... Only have to burn for a short while, could also mix down with the neutral oil that doesn't smell. 1 Litre is good value for money and can see many burning hours.... (as long as the lamp is put out) - I've used a half filled Lampe Berger due to not "outting" the burner, so please ensure you burn for max of 20 mins (per area) - my rooms are large with high ceilings and 20 mins for the whole downstairs area is enough (with doors open).
