The blades are fine. I expected the outer foil too, but that was my mistake as I misinterpreted the accompanying photo. The blades are priced high though -- almost 2/3 the cost of a new shaver. I bought the replacement blades because my shaver was working very well after 2 years, and my previous closely related Panasonic shaver kept going for 6 years! But then, the blades used to cost much less earlier. So on hindsight I think I should have bought a new shaver rather than replacement blades. These Panasonic washable shavers are truly excellent.

Unless the manufacturer is good at imitating the real thing, these replacement parts are the genuine Panasonic part needed to replace the original. Delivery was quick and the packaging is in the original Panasonic package. The new cutting blades work great - they are replacing blades I’ve had for a good 10+ years (or longer). I use my electric razor to shave my face but also my scalp so it gets a good workout. These new blades work as good as the originals did when new.
