My dog has a collapsing trachea. It’s currently at about 1/3rd open. He has coughing fits after water, excitement and sometimes randomly. We noticed him getting worse via constant heavy panting and got the diagnosis. Wanting to try everything we can here is what he’s currently taking. He’s taking this honey NOT the powder (he won’t eat it) about 3 times a day and we started giving him beef bone broth once a day that we purchased from a company called Open Farm. With these two along with keeping him as calm as possible and away from heat/humidity he has shown incredible improvement. I’m really not sure what it is that has caused such a drastic change but this is what has been added to his lifestyle. He stopped panting and has a coughing episode maybe once daily. I forgot to add that we put an upside down bowl in his water bowl in order to slow down his drinking. I read that every time he coughs, it worsens the trachea and his main cause was drinking water too fast. This has helped a ton as he no longer coughs after drinking. I think along with this, the honey, and the bone broth (for collagen) it has strengthened his trachea. We’ve also prayed a lot as well but i don’t want to make it about that on here. Other things he’s always taken are vitamins twice a day from zesty paws. He takes a 8 in 1 with breakfast and a mobility with his dinner. Personally I think that company has become worse over the years but my dog does not like change so we still get those vitamins for now but I’d suggest another US brand. Just wanted to do what I can to help other doggo parents through this terrible condition. It’s very important to keep him calm even if he/she is begging to go outside if the animal is easily excited causing heavy panting episodes imo. Best of luck to you all.

My 10 yr old Pomeranian has an enlarged heart and a collapsing trachea. I took him to the vet and they prescribed him furosemide (which is very harsh on the kidneys) and a cough tab to suppress the cough. The medications helped, but my baby still had a TERRIBLE cough. Over the last few weeks, his cough got so bad to where he couldn't sleep at night. It was a nightmare for everyone in the house. The honking and gagging was so bad but I refused to give up on him. My anxiety had reached an all time high because I was so worried that I would have to put him down because I didn't want hi to suffer. I was VERYYY skeptical of this product but the reviews gave me hope so I overnight the product after reading the reviews on their website and on amazon. I added the product to his food and the FIRST night was a game changer! My baby only had a little cough ONCE during the night! I couldn't believe it. The next day my parents noticed that he wasn't coughing but I didn't want to get too excited just yet. The third and fourth day he was sleeping through the night and having better days with small little coughs. He is no longer hacking and gasping for air as often. It is not a cure but it has def changed his life and given him some relief! I stopped using the product for a few days and his cough seemed to be coming back so I added it back to his regimen! After hundreds of dollars spent on vet trips and medications Im so glad a product from amazon CHANGED MY DOGS LIFE! As I type this review my baby is sleeping peacefully next to me and I have this product to thank! I will continue to give him this. So glad I found it!

I found out my 17 year old dog has a collapsing trachea. The vet gave me cough tablets and antibiotics. The tablets seem to work for awhile. I decided to try this product. The product listed in the headline works really well to relieve my little girls throat and I notice less coughing after she eats.(I mix it in her food)I bought a second bottle because it works well. The soother syrup doesn't seem to do much.

My 10 year old chihuahua will lick up the honey but turns up his nose to his food with the herb powder in it no matter how I serve it. Mixed with bacon, cheese, teriyaki chicken, or his fancy food - he knows. He would rather starve than eat his herb tainted food.

I had seen this product on their website and I was so happy to see they have it on amazon prime! I have a 10 year old terrier mix that has recently started with trachea problems. My nights had been restless because I would jump to her side when I would hear her cough or have trouble breathing. The medicine the vet prescribed her made her sleep more than usual and I was scared of possible side effects since she’s such a small dog. When I found this natural remedy I decided to give it a try after their website reviews. I can say that it has helped out my dog a lot! I am in awe at how much her cough has decreased. It still happens but not as often. The syrup is gooey and smells like honey and it’s easy to mix with anything if necessary and so is the powder. My dog will usually take the syrup by itself, I assume it’s sweet since it has a sweet smell. Even my Labrador mix has liked the small tastes he has gotten of it. In all I’m very happy with the product and will be placing a second order soon!

Did not do anything for my dog. Very expensive. She didn’t like the taste and it made her ill. She ended up having mobility issues. Fortunately I took her off of it right away and she recovered. I hate to think what would have happened if I kept her on it. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!

My dog won’t eat the powder. I’ve tried giving it to her in a piece of treat or mixed in her wet food and she won’t eat all day. I syringe feed her the honey and I’m not sure if it helps or not. She can be a picky eater in general so if you have a picky dog then this may not be ideal

I ordered this bundle almost as a last resort...my 12 yr old Tyson was coughing/hacking due to a collapsed trachea almost 85% of the time! Especialy at night. Meds from the vet showed only a slight improvement. These 2 products (I'm not even sure how/why) have improved my pup's condition tremendously! A must try ....honestly..

This product is Awesome. My 15 yrs old toy poodle has collapse traches for years. For the past few months, her condition has become worse, and has been coughing day and night. Spending a few hundred dollar each time to see a vet, with their medicine does not see any improvement on her. My heart ache each time I see her coughing so badly. Luckily I google and found this product. With all the good reviews I decided to let her try. Just taken for 3 days, 2 doses/day and she completely stop coughing. Almost a week, I have not hear her coughing anymore, especially at night. Thank you for this super product and for sure will recommend to other people.

Got sent a product that expires in less then a month. No use for it now. Didnd't see any changes in my dog.
