Works great!
This worked well for adding another monitor when I didn’t have enough video output ports. It does need to install drivers to make it work, which asks you to disable antivirus software to do, which always makes me nervous, but it did work and didn’t appear to contain anything harmful, that’s a plus! If you have outputs it’s better to buy adapter cables, like mini display port to hdmi or whatever, but if you have no outputs left, this is a great and functional solution, and cheaper than a high end graphics card for sure!

Could only get one extended display not two, and VGA port wouldn't work at HD resolution
I tried several configurations with my W10 Lenovo Z580 laptop. The Z580 can support 2 displays by itself (the built in screen and either the HDMI output or the VGA output port) I tried to use this USB to HDMI VGA Adapter and no matter how I configured things, I could not get it to display 3 unique (extended) screens unless 2 of them were from the laptop (built in and either HDMI, or VGA port on the USB device.) If this USB device had worked "properly" then the configuration should have been capable of displaying on 4 screens!I saw another reviewer mention googling a driver and finding one that helped. I'll have to re-check that review and go hunting for it!Bottom line: It does half the job I expected, but at least it does display something. 3 Stars

The installation guide is stored inside the device like a flash drive
I think it is really cool that this device had storage on it rather than a disc or e-download. I haven't tested it to see if I can store files on it but if it could that would be amazing. It was easy to install and did exactly what I needed (Converted my laptop to accept a 3rd screen). It is small and well made, the cord part is durable and the ports have strong connections.

Have to run USM USB Display application on Windows to get it to turn on each reboot
I like how they included drivers on the device itself. You can't use it for storage really though, it's only 8Mb, and 1.2 Mb free space. But pretty cool, I wish more devices would do that. I haven't had a chance to test the VGA port yet, but the HDMI port works fine with a 14" Dopesplay monitor I connected to it. This works really well, so now I can use my other HDMI connection on the video card for my VR headset. The driver loaded no problem, and the shows up in device manager with 3 'devices' for some reason. I guess one for HDMI, one for VGA, and maybe one for the storage?Only downside is that you have to manually launch the USM USB Display application after each reboot to get the screen to turn on. I tried making a service to run it at boot, but that didn't work. You could drop it in the windows startup folder, which would work as soon as you login, but I wanted it to turn on immediately at boot. Anyway, minor annoyance. I thought at first it wasn't working at all, until I googled it and saw others say you have to launch the application. It had some instructions, but the print was so small I couldn't read it.

VGA & HDMI didn't work on Mac & PC computers....
Perhaps mine is defective but the liklihood of it not working on all four systems I tested it with , and working for someone else, is extremely low. I'm a tech-y person, messed around with my fair share of display output dongles of all types. I am confident I didn't make a stupid mistake. I tested this with my 2012 iMac i5 running Mavericks 10.9 & running MacOS 10.15 Catalina. I tested it on Lenovo Thinkpad: T14 gen3 (2021 AMD 8-core, Windows 10), on a T490 (2019 i5), and a T480s. These systems all work perfectly with every other adapter and hub with video out that I've tested. If it doesn't work with the Thinkpad T14, I doubt it works with anything.

Nice working adapter for vga hdmi
This adapter is VGA and HDMI connections to connect to computer through a basic USB A cable. You plug into your computers USB port and it will automatically install drivers. If you need drivers, there should be drivers available.I was able to connect 2nd monitor to laptop using VGA and HDMI. It worked!
