Great
Great balls, annoyed I can purchase these anymore, anywhere
User
Not bad
Good value for money. Nice sound off the club but a bit too hard for competitions. Still find water!

Worth the money.
I purchased these balls a while back, but now have just got round to using them.I've played 4 rounds with the Cavell ball this week and I have to say they are really good.I'm no golf expert, but the flight and feel from the ball has been great. It might be a coincidence that my last two rounds have been the best I've ever had. The ball seems to stop pretty quickly on the greens from iron to wedge shots. Putting the ball feels good off the face of the putter and it has a useful alignment aid on the ball.Durability has been very good, I have used the same ball for the last two rounds. Now that I've jinxed not losing it I will not be over bothered as I've had my monies worth.I will definitely be buying these balls again.

Not good enough...
Gave the Cavell S a good run over a couple of rounds last week. Take home message: a bit disappointing. Overall, the ball feels pretty good (if one likes a soft feeling ball), especially for the short game and putting. Performance around the green is good, with decent spin off the wedges.I found the negatives outweighed positives, however. The ball was definitely 5-10 yards shorter than a comparable ball such as the Srixon AD333 Tour/Q-Star Tour, or similar, and the trajectory of the Cavell was noticeably low for me; too low in fact. The distance deficit was significant enough to be a real problem and the trajectory was a negative re. stopping power on approach shots. In addition, durability was questionable. In particular, the lacquer was prone to peeling quite quickly, which was annoying. Colour was also less white than perhaps it could/should have been. For the current price of £21.59, they aren't bad value, but for me, that doesn't make up for the performance issues. Compared to other DTC offerings (i.e. Vice Pro/Pro+, Snell Prime, Seed etc), the Cavell falls some way short. I wouldn't purchase them again in their current guise, and don't think I'll try the Cavell X. Shame. For context, I currently hold a 2.8 WHS index and carry a driver ~240-250 yards.

Excellent Find
I found one of these balls lost in the rough on a round the other day. Gave it a go and was impressed by the quality of the ball, and unlike its previous owner, I was hitting consistently good fairway shots. I was getting approx 5 yards of extra distance from my previous preferred ball (which I would consider premium)Never heard of the company before so did some research and it’s clear they are a new outfit. Ordered 12 of these delights and they are now my go to. For premium ball quality you are getting bang for your buck. They are also stylishly designed, which while not overly important, does help.

What can one say
From opening the box and first looking and holding the ball they felt cheap and light, so I thought ok give them a chance, so the next round of golf I played they got their one and only chance, these will never compete as a top level golf ball, I haven't used them since, buyer beware

Great feel on the green
Great spin. Little soft for me...But good for slower and medium swing speed. Nice add on for me was the actual ball look itself (discrete ball guide line) as it meant I didn't have to draw on a line, which I have to with other balls.

Better off with a Tru Feel
Unfortunately there just isn’t anything in this ball that remotely gets close to the claims.Took it out against a tru feel and ProV1. ProV1 was a clear winner, and this didn’t even come close to the TruFeel in terms of disbarred off tee (20 yards shorter), distance with irons, 20 yards shorter) and the spin round the green is at best with a TruFeel and no way near ProV1. Durability is also poor so the economics don’t work out as I’ve got a couple rough (scratched cover from wedges) in the bag - ProV1 will probably get another round in before going on practice bag. These will be sent down the range like the others, a shame, but not a surprise.
