Shake, shake, shake
The glitter was very thick. Hard to spray even without shaking constantly. But effect was obtained after it dried. 8 out of 10.

Clear with pink glitter gets- clogs and doesn’t work
Wow. Terrible. Each can sprayed a clear pink glitter. Not paint. Then 1/3 of can down and can clogs. Stopped spraying. 100%. Done. I bought three cans. All three the same. Asked for a refund. Told no. Lol. No. I am not sure why since this is a great brand. Likely glitter gets clogged. Bad concept. Poor product.

Better than expected, but...
The good:Looks good.Easy to use.Once dry no shed.Self leveling.Very forgiving of heavy spray. The bad:Expensive due to low coverage.MUST use outside (horrible off gassing)The ugly:If you choose to clear coat you either have to do it very lightly or use a lotI decided to try this glitter paint on the project in the photo. I took a child's electric guitar and converted it into an electric ukulele bass. Overall I'm happy with the way it turned out but now that I've done it once I know I could do it much better a second time. What you see above is two cans of the glitter paint. It was a small project and I didn't even expect to use one, but when I did the first one I definitely had blotches and bare spots. As I was using it, I thought the blotches were going to be very deep and heavy. However, 70% of what you are spraying is accelerant that evaporates away pretty much completely, and smells just awful as it does. I brought it into my house two hours after spraying and though it was dry to the touch the off gassing was still disgusting. I ended up leaving it on the porch overnight. To my surprise what is left was affixed in such a way that there is no glitter shed at all. That was a very pleasant and unexpected outcome. But then I had to order a second can to get everything even. After that I used one can of Rust-Oleum gloss clear top coat from the same line. Honestly if I had it to do over again I probably wouldn't have top coated at all. That was actually the step where I ran into most of the trouble. After the first coat of top coat I wet sanded everything with 800 grit. The back of the neck, which is the part I was most concerned about, turned out just amazing. I did not use a second coat on the neck at all. On the body I had a few heavy drips. Due to the textured nature of the glitter paint, sanding the drips made them stick out more instead of less. The whole back surface was lightly sealed with the clear and still has the textured feel to it. Everywhere that there was a drip had thickness that made it really stick out from the rest of the finish. A second coat on the front didn't really help. I finally got the drips to blend a bit better by poking tiny divets into them with an awl. You still see them if you look carefully, but that blended the texture to the rest of the finish and made them less noticeable. If you decide to top coat, go very easy. If you don't mind the slightest bit of sandpaper feel you can easily get away with not clear coating at all.

Received a bad can of glitter paint but Rustoleum made it right
Updating my review, as I received a bad can of paint but Rustoleum did give me a full refund and they were very professional about it. So call it 3 stars. Buyers should know this is not regular paint it is a solid glitter meant to go over a base coat. And the color does not match the cap, it is a matte finish and not like a glossy metalflake.

Don't waste your money on this type paint
EDIT: the company did reach out and offer a full refund by providing picture(s) and info. I still wouldn't recommend this particular product because of the problem but at least they've offered to reimburse.***********Needed this for a special anniversary project only to find out that it is terrible. The most expensive, and the worst, spray paint I've ever purchased. Initial spray attempt resulted in a huge clump of sparkles dumping out on the test page, and then nothing but clear and then some sprinkles. No white at all. I've shaken this can several times and about 3 minutes one time too, but every time it never produces but a hint of white coloration. Now half the can is empty and I have to figure out a different way to do the project to be completed in just a couple weeks. Sent email to rustoleum without response. Do NOT buy this or any of their sparkle product, IMHO!
