what are the dimensions of this item (not package dimensions)?

Basically the same size as the box it comes in. Top is slanted a bit. It's not going to hold your McDonald's lunch trash but good enough for candy and gum wrappers, tissue, small items that can clutter up the car. Must also be maintained every few days depending on how often it's used.

How do I get replacement bags?

I don’t know. I was going to use the small waste paper bags.

Where are the garbage bags that were supposed to come with the item?

Ours was inside the trash cans.

Can you order additional liners. If so, where?

Yes, Amazon does carry trash Liners. Just need correct size.
