Rich Dad's Prophecy

I beleive this could be the best of the Rich Dad Series books that I have read. The first part of this book explains why a stock market crash may be coming. And the explanation is simple and easy to understand. The stock market goes up because people put money in, by law. Also by law, those people must begin withdrawing money from their 401k when they turn seventy. When millions of Americans turn seventy, more money might be coming out of the stock market than is going in. But the rest of the book is about what we can do to be financially free.You need control over yourself, control over your emotions, control over your excuses, control over your vision, control over the rules, control over your advisors, control over your time, and control over your destiny. I like his message of hope after his prediction of gloom. It does not take much to change your financial future. And now I am going to quote a saying I heard once, that Robert hasn't used yet (Not in the books I've read). When it comes time to make a decision there are three choices. To decide yes, to decide no, or to decide not to decide. I believe many people have unconsciously decided not to decide, but by reading these books, and following the advice he gives, you are deciding to take responsibility for your financial future.I like this book, and I like his writing style. I recommend this book, especially if you have read and liked his previous books.

The content of the book was what I hoped for. The delivery of the physical book was rough, arriving later than promised and beat up from the trip. The packaging was torn where the spine was damaged. Just careless handling by the shipper, I guess. Still, the book was what I wanted to read, and it didn't disappoint. Kiyosaki's wealth-building approach is conservative and sensible. Here, he advises on navigating difficult times, whether down markets or economic collapse. A worthy read.

This book is incredible. Anyone serious about financial freedom must read, digest and apply its contents. I loved it as I have been building my own ark for several years now and I am on the verge of financial freedom. Its amazing how Robert's later books are far superior to 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' but the first book is what he is famous for. I know several people who have 'Rich Dad Poor Dad' on their bookshelf for show but have not understood or applied even 1% of his teachings. Several months ago I was advised by John Sestina that I must educate myself on finances and the topic of money. I am delighted that Prophecy and Robert's other books have given me incredible financial education and helped me appreciate my own business better and given me a more comprehensive understanding of 'who I am' and 'what I am doing' building my own ark.

Just like all the Rich Dad books I have read, the author goes back over the statements and theories multiple times. Perhaps I am one who likes to "get to the point", but it seemed the amount of background the author put in the book and the constant going "back" to previous points was quite unnecessary. This book could have been 1/2 as long and actually been much better. This is the last Rich Dad book I will buy.

Robert has a way making facts known to his readers that should be obvious but escape most of us. He shares a look at our government that we have suspected but couldn't prove. And he makes us want to throw out every single politician in Washington and tar and feather them for what they've done to this, the greatest nation in the history of the world. Robert makes me glad that I'm getting old and don't have to see what most administrations but especially this one are doing, destroying freedom and turning a Christian into a heathen one. Must reading for every American who cares about this country.
