The item is packaged in thin plastic bag, which was insert in a padded envelope. I ordered the 100 pieces because I needed 100 pieces, 5 pieces were broken and unusable. Packaging with a firmer package would help with breakage. Overall the circles are what we need and meets our expectations.

I make refrigerator magnets and it was becoming harder and harder for find wooden circles that were actually 1.5 inches as described. For the most part, these are pretty darn close.
