Vieux Carre Traditional French Wool Beret, Navy

Let me start out with saying that I love the wool quality. This is a classic European hat and this is the European standard felt (as compared with other hats I have bought while in Europe). Today's American purchase is not usually as nice a quality as this hat.The hat itself was a little bit bigger than I thought. I have a small head, though. I would have preferred one about 1.5" smaller in total diameter with an opening just about 1/2" smaller too. It fits fine and doesn't fall off or anything, it's just a little bit looser and larger than I would like for appearances. But the color is lovely - the navy blue I bought is a true navy - and as I said, quality is great. I wish this company carried a slightly smaller version!
