This ‘double-row’ light strip was delivered exactly as advertised. The construction quality appears good…all LED’s on the strip work flawlessly. It has performed well…and as expected…in the two installations I have made so far using the strip.Straight away, I found it nice to have the additional brightness resulting front the double-row configuration. At about 6 LEDS per 2 inches of strip, the 5050 LEDs are about as densely spaced as you could have them without requiring a heat sink.The double-sided adhesive tape pre-applied to the back side of the strip makes it very easy to place the strip wherever you need it…simply peel and stick! The strip can be cut to just about any length you’d require, in increments of about 2 inches. ‘Cut-here’ lines on the strip take the guess work out of how / where to cut the strip. You are basically cutting right across a row of 4 solder tabs. It is very easy to solder wires onto the 4 split tabs, one corresponding to each color (Red, Blue, and Green) with a forth being the common ‘anode’ (‘positive’ is common on these strip instead of the common ‘negative’ that so many are used to from other applications such as automotive). And of course, the shorter the segment you use, the less power consumed, meaning that a less powerful supply can be used (as opposed to the rating of the power supply needed for powering the entire strip).In one of my applications, I mounted an 8 foot segment to the ceiling in a particularly dark end of my shipping cargo container, as per the picture. I use it for ‘white’ light there, produced by wiring a 12vdc supply directly to the strip in such a way as to energize all three ‘colors’ at once (tying the RGB pins together to neg). When used this way, a controller is not necessary.In my other application of this light strip, I mounted a segment under a narrow fire place mantle to “down-light” the stone work under the mantle. I did use a standard RGB controller for this application so as to product the various colors and mood lighting effects that it had to offer (see pictures).I already had several ‘standard’ LED strip controllers lying about that I was able to test this light strip with. All were rated for 6 amps maximum at 12vdc (maximum current draw I metered was about 2.2 amps per ‘color’ for a total of about 6.5 amps). While these controllers are designed to meet the power requirements of 5 meter single-row LED strips, each performed fine with this light strip even though they were probably at (or a little beyond) maximum rating. Of course the maximum rating is hit only IF all colors (RGB) were active and at full intensity. In practice, you will most likely not use this strip in that way, otherwise you would probably have purchased a ‘white’ only (non-RGB) strip. Just as likely, you may very well use shorter segments of the whole 5 meter strip, further reducing current requirements in the manner I previously described. For example, a ‘standard’ controller will provide adequate power (at 6 amps) if you were to split the strip into two 8 foot segments, using one controller for each.Overall, this is a very nice, bight LED strip at a good price point. If I could make any recommendation for improvement in this strip, it would be for it to be manufactured with a stronger double-sided mounting tape which would last longer in hotter, more humid environments (a shortcoming of every LED strip I’ve ever used).

It looks so amazing that I cannot help but buy one for my patio. I asked my friend for the source of the light, my friend sent me the website and I ordered it immediately.I received the product super fast and packed well.But the package do not include any controller or power supply. To make the strip work, I need to buy a controller and 12V power supply. If you are luck and have a controller and power supply already, you can use them directly.The led lights are waterproof and covered by silicon tube. Even if you don’t plan to get them wet, they are made to be a little more durable than non-waterproof strip because they are covered and protected by tube. The lights are perfect for outdoor lighting. But the led strip does not have any adhesive on the back. I think it is probably because the strip light with silicone tube is too heavy and adhesive cannot hold it.The lights have two rows and there are 120leds per meter. Compared with normal single row strip light, led quantity is doubled. I think that is why it is surprising bright. Considering the quality, the price is quite good.I love the LED strip lights. They are so pretty and super bright and the colors are so vibrant and consistent. For any outdoor, party, holiday and Xmas lighting in the future, these strip lights are my choice.

Typical quality for LED strips. I am using these for cabinet lighting, and have been mostly happy with the results.=== The Good Stuff ===* Two out of two strips worked fine.* About the same level of quality as any other LED strip...which isn't necessarily good. Each of the strips was made up of between 2 and 4 pieces soldered together (typical), and as always, I shrink wrap those connections to help keep them together.* Color consistency was OK, although two of the strips had a color shift between one end and the other. Again, typical of LED strips. There was one intermittent resister solder joint, which I touched up before installing.=== The Not-So-Good Stuff ===* No better, or worse, than any other strips I have used.=== Summary ===These are about the same level of quality as most other LED strips I have come across. It is a shame you can't expect to have consistent color, flawless construction, and a single contiguous substrate - but that seems to be the norm for these. They have been installed and run continuously for two months, so I expect them to last quite a while.

Amazing strip! Perfect for indoor applications!The strip recommended by my friend is very nice. Every color is extremely bright and the strip is easy to bend and solder. For the price, you can never come close to anything this good.Strip is clearly marked with cutting lines to shorten the strip to needed length. This permits using cut off piece as another strip of LEDs.Keep in mind that the strip does not come with any power supply or controller, and you need controller and 12V power supply to make it work. Note that the actual range of colors that can be displayed is a function of the controller used, not the strip itself. Make sure you purchase the separate controller that does what you want.Note that the adhesive is not very strong if sticking to anything not smooth.The strip is used for the top and bottom of my cabinet. It is really amazing. If you want anything that does not require any waterproofing, you can buy it for sure.
