BEYOND NICE TO THE RESCUE *by R***S on July 3, 2024* After several faltering attempts to obtain a cover for my hot tub.....finally I found a company who can get some things done and shipped. I looked for over a year to replace my hot tub cover....the search was accelerated by my 2 grandsons deciding to climb up and jump on it, causing the foam to break and then absorb the moisture emitted between the cover and the water surface. Each half of the cover easily weighed 50 lbs then making it nearly impossible to remove and replace. On a whim, I checked here on Amazon and found this company. I ordered after measuring and actually received several calls regarding clarfication of the size, shipping dates. When I returned the calls, I spoke to a couple different people, both were informed and helpful. The cover was delivered in less than a month in perect condition and it fits well. I probably should have ordered a longer skirt , but that is on me and not Beyond Nice. Good quality with even their less expensive cover. Don't hesitate to purchase from them!!!!!!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It's both functional and ornamental; you'll have to add more protector to make it fully practical *by S***S on November 30, 2018* A good product, and I'd buy it again. But it's not easy to buy and get, or as cheap as you first think.This company could benefit by sending you a sheet which had spaces where you're expected to enter dimensions of various bits (not just diameter but skirts and so on). But you're directed to an on-line site where you have to put data in, meaning it's hard unless you can arrange to be standing next to your spa with tape measure and smartphone. Be prepared.This is not really a $300 spa cover. The reason for the website page, is to suck you into a package of extra options, as with a new car. By the time you select the special features of extra protection, thicker insulation, better hinge, and internal plastic water protectors, you can easily pay $600. The payoff is something that will last without waterlogging, and thus lower your power bills by a lot, for a long time. I got exactly the product I expected, and it fit. (The spa air underneath now smells of new plastic for a few minutes when it is opened, but I expect that will dissipate over the years. The smell does not get into the water anyway, and soon goes away.)My last reservation comment is generic to all outdoor vinyl spa covers, not just this one: no matter how it's made and how much internal plastic, it's vulnerable to puncture from branches or animals or accidents, and (eventually) getting waterlogged insulation after that, and useless. So, once you get your $600 cover, if it's outdoors you need to add a "cover cover" over it (like really tough ground tarp) to protect the top surface. So you'll pay for the nice vinyl color, but if you do it right, you won't see it often. I ended up using my old ugly and perforated previous cover as a top protector for the new one-- which is all it's good for.
