Beautiful Beadweaving: Simply gorgeous jewelry Paperback – 13 April 2017

This is a beautiful book containing about 25 projects. Each project begins with a stunning picture of the item, then there is a list of the materials needed and then the instructions for making the piece with clear diagrams. I am a newbie beader and love the jewellery but think I may try a project when I have a bit more experience although the diagrams are extremely clear. The beginning of the book gives a brief overview of the different beads and a brief description of the basic techniques, joining thread, peyote stitch, ladder stitch and knots but I think some knowledge would be helpful.

The trouble with this book is which project to start with. There are some really wonderful pieces of jewellery included. There are comprehensive materials lists with every project. The instructions are well laid out and easy to follow and I love the variations which give further ideas for beaders. I firmly believe this will become one of my favourite beadweaving go to books when I need inspiration.

I am a visual learner and the pictures and instructions in this beautifully illustrated book are excellent. There are some really lovely projects which I am keen to get working on. I thoroughly recommend this beading manual from a wonderfully talented lady.
