Absolutely great had a wasp nest we could not reach.Soon stopped the wasps, very easy to put together great priceWish I had seen it two weeks ago when wasps were very active.Spent a lot of money on wasps spray.

Glad I bought this.Best thing for me is the adjustable reach of this applicator (from 12 to 42 inches) which makes it very versatile and, in the case of wasps nets, a lot safer. It is also far more accurate, controllable and less messy than the squeeze bottles things like Ant Powder generally come in.The applicator itself came well packaged and seems well enough made. It also comes with clear pictorial instructions and a spoon for filling the powder cup.All in all, I think this will be a very useful piece of equipment. Recommended.

This did the job - kinda. Good reach, and it does give a dusting each time, but we struggled to deliver enough dust to be completely effective.We had 3 nests - all in various holes underneath the facias around the house, so nests weren't visible, just the entrances. After each treatment, things went quiet for 24 hours, but then activity started up again. This went on for several days.In the end I hooked up the airbed pump to this instead of the hand pump supplied, which allowed me to deliver a much larger dose, and all 3 nests were gone in one hit.So it did it's job, saved me a fortune on call-outs, but isn't perfect. That said, I'd buy it again as for the price vs cost of a professional call out, it did well enough to get the job done.

Brilliant. I have bought a "powder puffer" device before to try and deal with a wasp nest, but the combination of it only being about 25cm long, and the powder I bought to go with it being apparently completely non-toxic to wasps meant I had no success with it at all.I just paid over 100 pounds to have 2 nests dealt with professionally, and a week later had another appear (it is really bad this year after several quiet years). I decided to have another go myself before spending a load more money, so I bought this, along with a different brand of powder. Firstly, this device is brilliant. It is only about 1m long when fully extended, but that still makes a huge difference compared to the really short one, you are just about far enough away for the wasps to not immediately associate you with what is happening at the entrance to their nest.The design of the way the air pipe feeds through the powder vessel means you get a really good well-dispersed puff every time without any clogging, so in about 5 seconds you can inject several really good bursts of powder before running off.Secondly, the new brand of powder I bought is really effective. So one go at the new nest resulted in instant success, all activity ceased within a few hours.

great idea but let down by a plastic wire gripper on the rubber bulb to puff. Came off with second squeeze. replaced by me with a metal Jubilee clip which worked better but still came off after several uses. Needs to have a better fit that can be held by a jubilee clip not a wire tie.

Very effective after about five days. Had to stretch a bit to reach wasp nest entrance but difficult to see how rod could be made much longer and still be easy to manipulate!

I had bought this to apply Diatomaceous earth to ant nest holes in our paved driveway. Then I found a wasps nest in the conservatory wall air brick. Spray foam did nothing but dispatch the wasps it came in contact with. Purchased a power wasp eradication and used this multi purpose duster to administer the powder. One use wasp nest destroyed. The dusted shot the wasp eradicator powder directly into the air brick holes whilst keeping me at a safe distance. I had already been stung twice within 24 hours before locating the nest so on this occasion I was happy the powder and the applicator worked so efficiently.

Got this to apply wasp nest powder. In order to get greater BULK delivery of blown powder with each squeeze (you don't want to hang around, after the first couple of puffs!), I ended up NOT using the small flexible syphon tube at all in the powder-holder, and used the lance UPSIDE DOWN, with a shake after every 2 puffs or so to freshen the powder-charge. Infinitely better!Would be an improvement if it came with 1 further length of extension pipe (I know you can get them separately in multi-packs), as you still are a little too near the target for comfort; however, instead I opted to invest in a protective suit, for future benefit.
