Could be better
Quick and easy to put together but....Sadly the back wall cracked, would have better to have had pilot holes already drilled. Roof sticks out in the back when trying to mount it on a flat surface. No instructions or tips on what to not do.Hopefully the tenant that moves in doesn't notice all the problems 😉

Needs some modification.
Inside of the front panel is too smooth. The owls need roughness to climb up to the opening so I drilled a bunch of shallow holes in it. Attaching a piece of 1/4 inch hardware cloth would be the best. The floor overlaps the sides by 1/16 of a inch. Water will collect there and will cause rot. Fixed it with two beads of caulk. The floor should be designed to be recessed inside up 1/2 inch from the bottom. Also, I drilled a series of drain holes in the floor. I glued the perch in. I drilled a 1/2 inch ventilation hole under the roof on the back side. The assembly drilled holes lined up very well. The small screw is for the front door latch. No instructions were provided. Drill holes in the back the same size of your attaching fasteners.

Dissappointed
Received this product, came in pieces so you have to put it together, maybe all of the descriptions say that which is not a problem, I am very handy and able to do this. BUT no instructions whatsoever so I have no idea how to attach the roof. Sent it back and going to pay more to get one already together.

Husband had it assembled and under three minutes
This owl house is really amazing! My husband who is an engineer (can literally construct items in his head, then build it) this our house did not come with any directions, I asked him, “ if he needed me to go to the sellers page to see about directions, and he told me no”😆 He had it put together in under 3 minutes while watching the Minnesota in Denver football game. I’m sure if I put it together it would’ve taken me like two hours. (but that’s me.)This owl house is very well crafted. It does come with the predator guard. He just needs to mount it into one of our backyard trees. It’s in an amazing owl house. I’m so happy I was lucky enough to be able to review it. (I have one owl that comes to my backyard at night, I can see him on our backyard camera. if you’re looking for an owl house, this one is the one to get! I highly recommend it!

Pricey for what is included
The owl house comes unassembled and without directions even though the advert claims "The package comes with step-by-step instructions". That being said, it does include most of what you need to assemble it and it is mostly straight-forward, though there are two possible arrangements for the sides...I chose wrong and now the back opens rather than the front; since redoing it would be a pain and I don't plan to enter the box once hung, I chose not to redo it. The top screws that attach the roof to the sides do not end up flush because of the design, but its just a birdhouse, so I am not going to worry about it, though they could have been better designed, and the bottom piece of wood is not exactly the correct size (a little too big, but again, not a hugh deal, though for the cost, it should be done correctly. They also do not include a way to hang the box once constructed, which again, for the cost, you would think they would do. I will have no trouble figuring out a way to attach it to a tree or fence and it is a functional owl house.
