So far this is the best flashlight I've found based on price point, luminous intensity, and build quality. This has a 5000 mAh lithium battery that's removable, and an adapter holding three AAA batteries can be used in a pinch, if the lithium battery is dead...nice touch! The size is manageable, and has a focusable beam, and the lens quality is good, with little abberations/distortion near the outer edge of the beam. Battery life is long....hours, depending on intensity level. What I like for switching is there are 5 modes of light, flashing, sos BUT...on any mode, like high intensity, just hold it for a couple seconds and it's off. No toggling through all the modes to get to OFF. And it'll remember the last mode you used before turning it off, and the next press will be at that mode. Overall I like this flashlight(s). Nice carrying case and lanyards for each flashlight. I think this is a must-have for the bedroom, car, and near the front door. Trust me, if someone comes in at night and you shine this in their face, they'll be temporarily flash blinded for many seconds. I think in some cases, the SOS is handy, for example, alerting a neighbor or passer-by for help. Worth every penny.

I like how this flashlight works. Very bright and can charge it with out changing batteries. Great for security and walking my property at night. Shines a long ways and is very clear. Would recommend this to a friend.

I have never had anything but a regular flashlight. I bought these after reading many of the descriptions to have one in our vehicle and one in our “junk” drawer. Not really knowing what to expect, I was wowed by the tremendous brilliance of the light. I wanted the push on switch to be in the thumb position and I desired a medium sized barrel so that it was manageable but not too pen-like small. These are all of that for sure. The battery life indicator was also important. I don’t mind having to switch through the stone functions before having it land on “off”. Hopefully, I will not have to use the stobe or S.O.S., but it’s nice to have them. I haven’t had them very long, but I have had occasion to use them and the battery life seems to warrant good marks. Obviously, I haven’t had any recharging experience. I like that it has a power “out” feature for emergency recharge of another device. I just haven’t used it. I told a family member about these and he bought them and shared that he liked them as well. He walks his dog I the dark sometimes, so a light like this is pocket sized and handy for his use. All around, I think you would like these too!

I really like the flashlights. They are very bright, with multiple settings (bright, less bright, strobe, SOS). They don't seem to hold a charge as long as we had expected, although they do last for several nights of taking the dog out. The only REAL issue we had is that the plastic case that they were shipped in was completely destroyed when we received the flashlights.
