Works great, easy installation... updated
Works great, easy installation. More features than I need, the chickens dont have any USB devices in the coop (yet) ;)I really like knowing when the solar panel is charging the battery.Update 12/19/2018- the pictured item (and price) of the item has changed. I do not own this particular model. I have the cheaper blue faced model. I believe it cost $14.99 when I purchased it. I happened to notice this because I believe the charge controller I own may be malfunctioning. The 12v battery maintained by this controller opens and closes an automatic chicken door with a linear actuator. A couple weeks back I noticed that the charge controller display was flashing an empty battery icon. I assumed the battery failed to hold the charge so I replaced the battery. That worked for about a week but now the new battery is “failing”. With this turn of events my focus is now on the charge controller possibly shorting out.
