I purchased this digital caliper to measure a gas can spout so I could order a new cap for my gas can. The digital caliper works great and I was able to quickly make an accurate measurement using my new digital caliper. It came with a nice case and two extra batterie's. I will use it for many other occasions as it is a great little piece of equipment to make measurements with. I found it very easy to use and accurate. The price was great so I bought it.

Does the job. Seem sturdy, came with batteries in it and ready to use and a spare set of batteries.

For the price these are a nice set of of calipers. These work well and I like that they came with a case and extra batteries. A few years ago I had purchased a similar one without a case. I had to keep a rubber band wrapped around the OLD ones to prevent them from sliding open randomly and wasting the battery. I work with body jewelry so I have to measure a lot of jewelry. These are nice to have on hand.

made from plastic but reads the same as my steel calipers. Looking at some other models you will see this one only displays in decimal and mm. I seldom use the fractional display because it's a less precise method. If you consider this is a plastic throw away tool with good precision, it's worth 5 stars. But if you think it's a daily use long lived tool, don't kid yourself. It's worth buying for small engine shops and many DIYers where true accuracy is not warranted. I'd buy it again.

I recently bought this caliper, and it’s my first one ever. It measures both inside and outside dimensions, which is great. Considering the affordable price, you definitely get what you pay for, but for a first caliper, I’m really happy with my purchase.

Works insanely well and is actually very accurate and well made good feel in the hands ✋️ the slide is smooth also.

NOT for precision work -- but then at this price point, I didn't expect it would be. It should be fine for general household use...Just remember that it only has two decimal points for inches. So for example if you want to measure 1/8" (0.125"), it isn't possible. You can measure 0.12" or 0.13", but you will never find 0.125" :-)
