Good qulity
I recently had the chance to use these tree felling wedges, and I must say, they have exceeded all my expectations. I've used them on medium to large trees, and they've shown minimal wear and tear, even after several uses. The material is soft enough not to damage your chainsaw chain but tough enough to handle the weight of substantial trees.Ease of Use: What stands out most is how user-friendly these wedges are. They come in various sizes, which makes them adaptable to different tree diameters and situations. The spikes or "dogs" on the wedges grip the wood exceptionally well, preventing slippage during use. This feature significantly enhances safety, allowing for precise control over the tree's fall direction. Driving them into the back cut is straightforward, requiring minimal effort, and they stay put once they're in, providing reliable support and lift.Visibility: The bright color options (like orange or green) make these wedges very visible in the forest, reducing the likelihood of losing them. This is a small but significant detail that adds to their practicality.Packaging and Versatility: The set comes with a storage bag, which is an excellent touch for keeping everything organized and easy to transport. Whether you're a professional logger or just someone managing tree removal at home, these wedges are versatile enough for all needs.Overall Impression: These tree felling wedges have quickly become an indispensable part of my tree cutting toolkit. Their high quality, ease of use, and thoughtful design make them worth every penny. If you're looking for reliable, efficient, and safe tree felling tools, I highly recommend these wedges. They've proven their value time and again in my work.

They work well.
I used one of these wedges a few times to prevent a felled log from pinching my saw and it worked well. I cut about 2/3 through the 20" log, stopped, taped the wedge into the cut using a chunk of wood and then cut through the rest of the way. The wedge did fall in and got a few chips on it before I could stop the chain but that is okay. These are a good value.

Worked for me
These ABS Tree Felling Wedges worked for my first use and are now hanging around in their mesh bag waiting for potential future use. They helped me achieve the tree felling success I desired. I am happy. This is the first time I used wedges and not a lot of tree felling experience. The level of my face cut was not quite right so I used a couple of these wedges in the back cut to ensure proper direction of fall. They did the job. I was left thinking it was a good thing I got them just in case I needed them - because I needed them.Based upon the shavings left behind, it was also a good thing these wedges are plastic. I have since learned that the more expensive name brand wedges are Nylon, not ABS like these. Nylon, it seems, holds up better and might perform better with heavier trees. So I have read. Thought I'd mention it but I've only used these.

Work great
Awesome weges, able to direct trees in the direction I want vs the way they are leaning (with in reason).Really nice to cut the trees and once they are "almost" ready to fall, to switch to the wedges and with a few hits to have tree fall the desired way.Great set of wedges with 2 sizes.

Excellent wedge but don't abuse as a splitter
These wedges are durable plastic but cannot sustain hard direct hits with an axe or hammer. When cutting a 2 feet diameter fallen tree (with a hand saw?) it is essential to use a wedge so your saw won't bind, but using it as a splitter is not advised. After cutting 2/3 of the log, I got impatient with lack of progress and tried to use these wedges directly to force a break-through. The log finally separated using multiple wedges as a splitter but the force bent the bottom edge and pounding with an axe on the top of the wedge resulted in dents. However, these wedges are inexpensive and do a great job if used correctly. Also I got better results using a finer tooth saw over a course tooth saw with less binding.

They work great
Should have started using these years ago. I have always used an ax, hatchet or steel splitting wedge to wedge trees and logs. These are so much better. They are light weight but solid. They have a nice thump when you wedge them in the wood, not at all flimsy. They are great for cutting downed trees for firewood. You know the 40' log that wants to close on you as you're trying to cut it for firewood. No more cut N' roll. Yes you can use the ax method but it's so nice to have a couple of light weight wedges that you don't have to worry about hitting your saw. As you can see while cutting a stump to the ground I grazed one. No bad words were said and I didn't mess up the chain. It's also so much easier finding them in the chainsaw shavings and leaves because they are bright orange. I am definitely going to get another pack for extras. They are inexpensive and highly recommended.
