I bought this to wear on my mobility scooter, I've lost the use of one arm and find a raincoat with sleeves impossible to put on by myself and the 'appropriate' garments 'meant' to be worn by disabled people are just so ugly and institutional looking I cannot bring myself to buy or wear one; I've had an accident but am not completely dead to fashion! This fits a size16 with room to spare and does not come down too low round my legs when seated the poppers at the sleeves are a useful feature and the neck popper is not too tight but stops the hood blowing off my head. It kept me perfectly dry during an autumn shower and helped to keep the wind out and keep me warm. Last, but not least, it looks nice, smart, and not at all like I've given up!!

Mums Happy Rain Coat
I purchased this poncho for my Mum when she is out and about she is mainly in a wheel chair, having seen some of the rain wear for this type of transport decided to look elsewhere, saw the red spotted number and ordered it. My Mum is a smart dresser and when she saw it was delighted, it's the sort of garment that really does lift the spirits on those drizzly grey days, more importantly it is easy to pop on and it is rain proof. I have worn it myself and cannot help smiling it's what you might call a happy coat. I must admit I failed big time trying to fold it into its pocket glad that I am not the only one. K.K.

Not quite as maxi as you'd think.
Not quite as long as you would expect for a 'maxi'. I'm only 5ft tall and the length is mid thigh. Whilst I have no doubt the fabric is water proof the seams are not sealed but I hv yet to wear in heavy rain to test this.

Drowned but not by the water.
This is very good and I am sure it is water proof. It is just a bit big - loads of material.I feel like 'cousin it'.I am 5 feet tall and a size 8. A talker person would have no problem.

Good quality, keeps out the rain and helps to keep you warm in unexpected rain that was unfortunately torrential for me! Fits inside an attached bag so is portable and compact. Good size too, covers you well but is not too long.

Four Stars
good quality and handy size to pop in handbag.

Good quality but short
Good quality product which also can be compacted into small space. Only complaint if you can call it that, is that it is quite short so only about bum/thigh length on most people.
