I've only had this camera for a week. I replaced another security camera that was no longer working. I'm very impressed with this camera! Install was super easy, the app is easy to use and the picture quality is great. I like that is has a microphone and how wide the view is compared to my last camera. I can't vouch for the longevity, but for the price it's a great camera.

Excellent wireless camera with 150 degree "fisheye" field of view, 2K resolution and long battery life. Installed this outdoor camera for monitoring my back yard. Works in conjunction with TP-link Kasa wired indoor cams, TP-link Doorbell/Chime... all cams can be viewed on Tapo app. Installation and firmware update is quick and easy with Tapo app. It only took an hour to fully charge from 50% out of the package with USB cable. Magnets on camera and base mount are strong. It should hold up to the high winds we get here in four seasons country. Easy to adjust angle of camera. Takes a few days to get sensitivity settings, motion detection, etc... tweaked and setup through trial and error. SD card can be installed or cloud service with subscription for recording. Night vision works great with good black/white picture. Overall, great camera for the cost. Recommended for those who want to use TP-link indoor and outdoor cameras. I have 4 cameras running and this TP-link/Taop setup is just as good as professional-grade, high cost DVRs/camera, static IP-based setup that cost 10-15 times more than what I paid overall. My only gripe is.... I wish Tapo would create an app for Windows 11/Linux Mint OS on laptops and desktops. Tapo works great on Android and iOS smart phones and tablets. Highly recommended for those who want pro quality video surveillance at consumer level cost.

This TAPO magnetic mount security camera was easy to set up and connect to my network and devices. I did have to download an application to each tablet or phone I wanted to use to view the video. The app seems to work well enough. The magnet mount is very strong and holds the camera stable and securely. since it is held by just magnetic force, you should mount it well out of reach to prevent theft of the camera.The camera has variable detection ranges, day and night recording, a motion activated light, and voice and siren alarm capability. The battery is advertised to last for up to a year. My camera has been in use for almost three months and is not yet down to 75%. Battery life will be significantly affected by how often it is activated by motion detectioin. Your battery life may vary.I read online magazine reviews from PC Magazie and others before I ordered this camera. It was highly rated by them and is highly recommended by me.

Great cameras and system for the price. Easy installation and setup. Phone alerts are great, as is SD storage and solar panel design. Tapo app is user friendly with many user adjustable functions and settings.

I mean for the price, you really can’t go wrong here. It’s very feature rich at this price point, and easy to setup/use. The clarity of the picture is also really good and the AI does a nice job at picking things out. The battery life is also stupidly impressive, I honestly don’t know how they did it. The mounting is also unique and handy, especially on the boat.My only gripe is the fact that it doesn’t support continuous recording. I get it would be a big battery draw, but I feel the user should make that decision, not TP-Link. At a minimum, if an external power source was added, the feature should become present.

Cameras are excellent — very clear picture quality, and setup was quick and easy. Activation was straightforward, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box. Definitely a product I recommend!
