We are expecting our 2nd set of twins and when our first set was born 14 months ago, we were looking for less expensive alternatives to brand named diaper creams. During our time in the NICU, the hospital used A & D ointment and so we decided to stay with A&D but try to find a generic brand. This ointment has been great. We just ordered our 3 case and have already used 140 tubes. It's not greasy and our kids have never had diaper rash.

Quality not good

I was introduced to this brand through a home health agency so I knew what to expect when I purchased this. It is definitely not as thick as the brand name A & D ointment you purchase at the drug store. I use it almost as a lotion for my bedridden mom whose skin becomes very dry in the winter. It's oily as is the regular A & D but thinner in consistency.
