Perfect - BUT - for a very unconventional use (deployed with an ICOM 7100 RADIO) Works 100%
Unlike switching computers, I actually bought this for an Amateur Radio purpose. My Icom 7100 Amateur radio set uses a CAT7 PIN COMPATIBLE (*) cable connection (STRAIGHT TYPE! NON CROSSOVER CABLE) between the body of the radio in the boot (US=trunk) of my Van and the remote head which attaches to a camera style bracket on the dashboard.Because my Van is a camper, I wanted the ability to switch between 2 cables so that I can operate the single radio head from either the dash, or the habitation area on demand. The switchbox case is embossed to show which port is which and which button to select for each port . It is a completely passive device requiring no power connections. The prospective buyer should be advised that :1) The unit does not come with cables for any port - not even the common one ( I bought a 25cm flat black CAT7 at the same time)2) It IS possible to lock the buttons in a "Neither A nor B" state so the unit should be mounted carefully where it is unlikely to be knocked. I hope in this condition neither of the ports are connected but I have not validated that.So if you have an ICOM 7100 and are having a "lightbulb moment" for operation in 2 rooms / areas then this switchbox fits the bill(*)***************DISCLAIMER***************In my review above I use the term **PIN COMPATIBLE** The interface between the Icom 7100 and head unit DOES NOT SUPPORT ETHERNET CONNECTIVITY and if you were to plug either end into an ethernet switch you would highly likely to Damage your £1000+ radio and your ethernet switch - so please DONT DO IT !!! equally use of a CROSSOVER ETHERNET CABLE could destroy your radio so again DONT DO IT !!I accept no responsibility for YOUR actions - only my own radio setup. Thanks for reading

Quick and easy RJ45 Ethernet physical switch
Have an issue where two BB provider have drops in the line all the time which makes life difficult when WFH. This manual switch allows me to switch from one to the other easily on a hardwired connection eliminating any other noise that may be due to WiFi interference too.So far works well, but early days as just installed, took about 2 minutes to set up.Didnāt want to set up a proper router as already have a switch and expect this to be a temporary state and one BB provider will win :).

Works but after adjustment
Works OK. Pretty cheap feeling. The connection was a problem to start with but once I worked out the cable had to be at a bit of an angle to get a decent connection it was OK. For the money, fine.

Network killer
I run my home off my phones hotspot. I have an Android tv with WiFi and lan connection. I also run an isolated (not broadband or cellular connected) wired lan network to link PVRs,audio, NAS drive and set top box. I use this to isolate the TV from the LAN which when disconnected reverts to WiFi and the phone hotspot for TV streaming etc by using the switch as Lan isolating cut off.Works very well.

Allows easy use of two RJ45 units
Having recently started to use Netflix we needed a splitter to get the internet to both our Humax Freeview box and a Panasonic Blu-Ray unit that has Netflix access. This splitter does the job better than expected. Rather than having to select A (for Humax) or B (for Panasonic) for some unexplained reason the internet connection works for both with the B button depressed. Having some electric circuitry knowledge I can find no logical explanation for this happening - but am very happy that it does.

Works as it should
Works flawlesslySimple and no loss of speedsQuick switching between the too which is great for vpn useOnly suggestion is to have the writing on the box in black so it's easier to see the port numbers etc

Network Switch Splitter Selector Hub
Had this a while but just installed it.I need to run two cctv cameras and a PS4 off one router with two ports.I connected it all properly but the switch does nothing at all.The two connected ethernet cables seem to interfere with each other.Even when I use the switch, I have to physically take out one of the leads for the other one to work. What a load of trash this is. It does NOT do what it says it does.

Works exactly as expected!
I had cable internet for years, but the price kept going higher and higher. I ended up canceling and switching to TMobile home wifi for $30/month. After about a year someone came knocking on my door from the cable company asking, practically begging to get my service back. I told them the price would have to be so low I'd be willing to pay it to keep both services, because I had no plans to leave TMobile. They obliged and gave me 400mbps AND a cell phone w/ unlimited everything (even data) for $20/mo total. I couldn't believe it. I bought this and have the single port connected to my PC, and the others go into my cable router, and the other into the TMobile router. If cable ever goes out, I can just switch to the "B" connection to use TMobile as my backup. The other night I was online around 2AM when cable went down for 30 minutes for scheduled maintenance. I looked at my router and saw the Internet light was orange (instead of green), so I just reached over and pressed "B" and within about 10 seconds I was back online using TMobile as my backup. This is way cheaper and easier to configure than buying a fancy business router with failover internet. I'm a Network Engineer, so I could have set up one of those routers no problem, but I really like this low-tech solution. One of the best things about it is that unlike a router that supports multiple internet connections, this doesn't require a power outlet. Just plug in your ethernet cables and you're good to go!It's a small, lightweight plastic thing. I'm sure it wouldn't hold up to a ton of abuse, but for something that just sits on the corner of my desk and will probably only get used 2 or 3 times a year, I'm not worried about the build quality. However, for the price and what I need, it's absolutely perfect. If you plan on switching between connections a dozen times every single day... I suspect it may possibly wear out within a year or so, but that's just a guess; your mileage may vary.

Funciona bien.
Es un aparato muy sencillo, es solo para switchear la seƱal de red hacia uno u otro destino, pero eso es lo que yo queria, un aparato compacto y de funcionamiento muy simple que funcionara bien, y si funciona bien.

Simple and effective f
Feels really cheap and like it could fall apart on any given day, but it works well and that's the most important. Keep it somewhere handy and it's super easy to connect/disconnect with ease and confidence.
