Q: 8 months later, question remains....Do they resist rust?

Mines are like new, no rust at all 👍

Q: Are these good for flush cutting guitar strings?

I don't know the cutting edge is recessed from the out edge of the pliers, so I'm not sure if the string would slip in far enough for a good cut.

Q: Senior female with arthritis seeking ergonomic wire cutter to cut wire clothes hangers. Is this ideal? Product recommendations?

I also have arthritis and got these because they’re big & easier to grab, & squeeze when I do my crafts. I’ve never tried to use them for cutting very thick wire hangers. Most people with arthritis can’t do that. But they are pretty strong and great to use. If you’re Strong you might be able to cut through them, so I don’t think it’s ideal for that. Give it a try and if it doesn’t work return it. good luck

Q: Why is this item being displayed on the same page as a bicycle shift cable? this will not work for cutting bike cables.

They are very good cutters and should cut bicycle shift cables. Never tried it.
