We bought this bow and arrow set for my 5-year-old niece and it has been a huge hit. It didn't come with directions so I ended up breaking the most important part of the bow; the string. I'm so disappointed. I thought the string was supposed to be cut, since the direction weren't included, but the string is definitely needed. I had no idea to assemble the bow until it was too late. I'm mad at my myself mostly, but also the lack of directions. I literally just received the package and opened then bam, I cut it. Ugh now I have to hide this toy until I purchase a new one.

I initially panicked because I opened the Amazon box and the archery equipment was in its own box, but no sign of cape and crown. Not even on the box photo is it mentioned. I was worried about the arrows so I opened the box to check on their suction ability and, lo and behold, the cape and crown are INSIDE the archery box! Arrows need a little reshaping around the edges to make them not so “flat” and then they stick just fine! Will be a great gift for 4yr old, and not too shabby for price. Is the equipment a cheap plastic? Yeah. Is it probably going to break after a tug of war with her older brother? Maybe. But I’m happy with it and glad to report all appears functional and fun!

Easy enough for my five year old to figure out how to use it in her own. Came with a cute glitter cape and crown which she also loves to act like she’s really playing the part.

Granddaughter loved it. But Bow was a bit difficult to pull.

My niece loved it and my brother hated it, so it’s definitely five stars. Robin Hood Men in Tights or Kevin Costner would approve of my niece’s shot with the bow and arrow! My niece had fun with it and it was easy to use until the Sheriff of Nofunland (my brother) took from the fun loving kid and hid it where he’d even forget!
