Great battery and a great price. Delivered next day by DHL. Easy to fit

This is a quality battery at the most competitive price I could find anywhere. My car (2014 BMW 320xD) is one of many that requires "coding" when having a new battery fitted. This needs specialist software and plugging into the diagnostic port. If you don't do this then the car will overcharge the new battery and the life will be massively shortened. Madness that cars like mine (and most) are unable to detect a new battery and do this automatically. The "mechanic" I engaged claimed to be able to do this but his equipment was not up to the job and I ended up going to the garage that does my servicing. So, my advice is to ask the mechanic to verify that his equipment can communicate with the battery management system BEFORE allowing him to fit the new battery. He does not need to enact any changes at this point but just prove to you (on screen) that he has accessed the code and his equipment will allow him to make the changes.

Battery was nearly £200 cheaper than the exact same item from a well known car parts company, arrived quicker than stated.Only issue , there was no code on it for reprogramming , as per Audi, so made up a random number, and all worked well.

Don't buy. Will not replace after five months of use, response from company after sending back for testing, it could have been faulty when sent out as it was 5 months old then.I am just emailing regarding the outcome of your warranty claim. The warranty on your battery covers all faults caused by manufacturing workmanship or material. The warranty however does not cover the following Non-Manufacturing Defects like sulphation, Wear and Tear, Deep or Over Cycling, Overcharging, or undercharging, Case damage, Terminal damage, Incorrect Application, Fault Diagnosis / Installation. As the voltage is below 10.4V, a process of sulphation occurs. Sulphation is a build-up of lead sulphate crystals and this can cause loss of cranking power, longer charging times and premature battery life. Crystals can build naturally in a battery, but with regular use and charging of the battery the crystals are small enough to be broken down. However, at the point of sulphation these crystals are so big that they cannot be broken down by the battery’s natural process. This reduces the conductive area on the metal plates inside of the battery, which means there is less usable capacity.As your battery’s voltage is reading 2.94V, the battery is fully discharged, however as the battery has not been recharged sufficiently it has led the voltage to drop further to the point of sulphation. This then prevents the battery from working to its full capacity again. Unfortunately, based on these details which are stated in our terms, we are unable to replace this battery under the warranty and it is now void. Item arrived on time and in good order box was a little battered and not much if any protection for the battery. Could have added this way up or fragile stickers but otherwise very happy.

Contrary to Amazon's website, this battery is a high-capacity option for Volvo XC-60. Only problem is polystyrene cover of battery needs slightly enlarging to fit the marginally longer battery
