Why should i buy such expensive dehumidifier ?what benefit?

Most of the consumer units on the market have the same internal system made by a company that doesn't seem to care about quality. I found these units, when used in a basement that has a humidity problem, last no more than 18 months before dying. And even with 5 year warranties and buying from a local box store, it was a pain to find service - in or out of warranty. So I buy these sort of industrial units. They cost three times more than the cheap ones, but work better, are more reliable, and actually run longer than the warranty. So if you are strapped for cash, buy the cheaper units. You will buy three to five of them in the same time that the industrial unit will run. And the will cost you more in terms of energy. The consumer units, having a "catch bin" are also larger, harder to move, and nosier. You plumb this one once, and your only concerns are cleaning, as with any unit.

What is the Warranty terms?

1 year from date of purchase - free of defects in workmanship and materials; 3 years from date of purchase - refrigeration circuit; 5 years from date of purchase - compressor, condenser and evaporator. We have a seasonal property and I purchased 2 of these units because of the pump and also being more of a commercial unit. One is in the crawl space and the other is in the living quarters. Well pleased.

What are the energy efficiency of those units (L/kwh)?

They are real Energy saving dehumidifiers,Sentinel HD55 current only 3.6A with COP 2.4L/Kwh,Sentinel HD90/HDi90 current only 5.56A with COP 2.88L/Kwh
