Carolina Reaper is officially the hottest pepper variety in the world reaching an average of 1.5 Million Scoville units. This is a naturally occuring chocolate varient of the parent yet to be heat tested, however, on tasting it has the same intense heat with a strong flora aroma and smoky flavour.
