SnugpakSleeper Extreme | Warm & durable everyday sleeping bag (2023 Style)

Bought this as I wanted a synthetic bag specifically for cold bivvy bagging.At £44 this was a bargain, and my review is based on this being a hell of a lot of bag for the money (literally)The bag seems well put together and the inside is a nice soft material that's not too sweaty. The insulation works well. I have only had one night out at 2 degrees Celsius in a bivvy bag, but I was nice and warm and felt like I would have been comfortable dropping below zero- although I'm not 100% sure that it's comfortable rating of minus 7 degrees Celsius is realistic, I think that may be more of an extreme rating, and I'm a warm sleeper.I'm 6ft 2 and usually have to buy the long version of sleeping bags and bivvies, but this bag is plenty long enough for me.It is massive when packed up though.i can't mark it down for this because there's not many decent sub zero bags at this price, but I struggled to get this in a 30ltr bag with a few other bits, so I wouldn't be able to take it on a multi day trip with food and shelter.I'm pretty pleased with this, its great value and I'm sure will last years. Snugpak stuff is always decent and fairly rugged and I'm a fan of their products

Great value for money bag, that should cover most temperatures, in the UK, it just doesnt fit me. I am 5ft 11 and 15 stone (95KG), If you are muscular across the chest and should, then this bag unlikely to fit, tbh, most bags wont fit you, I can almost get the zip up, but cant move at all, I took the chance on this bag, because some guys in the Military use this, who weigh the same as me, guess their weight cant be across the chest and shoulders! Snugpack, should offer a baffle like they do on their other bags, to expand the size., or offer an XL version.

Warm but zipper is unpredictable and opens in the middle of the night which is not fun.

It must be the best sleeping bag out and a very good price

Great sleeping bag for cold weather not too hot and no hot feet in milder temps if you leave it unzipped a bit and warm a cosy when it’s cold good quality and not too heavy for the size of it

Good bag worth the money

Perfect for soldiers! Packs down in my bivvi bag in my bergan nicely. I'd say it's about the same size as the issued bouncing bomb, but so much warmer! Took it on an exercise recently and was absolutely redders inside it!
